The instructors are highly skilled, they are passionate about teaching, connect in a special way with every student, always challenging the students to push the boundaries and be their best, while nurturing them and creating a comfortable environment where respect for themselves and others are central. Our children’s and our own confidence and perseverance have been significantly improved since we joined FMA.
As if all that were not enough, the FMA community is truly special. All students support each other and it’s beautiful to see all the friendships that form and strengthen with every practice, every competition and every event. We never thought of Martial Arts as a “team sport”, but seeing how everyone supports each other, celebrate each others victories and gather together to uplift anyone who needs it during the regional and national competitions is one of my favorite things in the FMA community!
We love our Ms Amber, Ms McKensie, Master Freeman and now Mr Joey. And of course, Mr Shakoor whom we’ll always be grateful to for his influence on our kids.
