Great experience with American Chimney Services. I used them because a relative had a good service provided by them. I chose them because they were knowledgeable and were able to provide a variety of services for reasonable prices unlike other local companies which couldn’t do everything I wanted done. They were prompt at coming to address my chimney issues. They called and asked if they could come earlier which I appreciated. They didn’t do the smoke chamber cement as expected but were prompt in addressing it when I highlighted it to them. Had a very good experience working with American Chimney. Very knowledgable and professional throughout the whole process and was upfront about costs and things that would save me time and money long term with my project. I would highly recommend them for anything related to your fireplace/chimney.
The guys from American Chimney Service were hired to install two chimney liners; when they got on top of the roof they noticed cracking of some of the bricks and immediately brought it to our attention. This issue, if not found, could have resulted in serious damage. Thankfully, there was no interior damage. American Chimney Service replaced and repaired the exterior of the brick chimney, water proofed the brick and installed the liners with new dampers. They were speedy, diligent and efficient.
