I had an independent contractor assess my fireplace problem and send the specs to American Chimney Service. I had already gathered a number of bids that were all over the place dollar-wise. ACS proposal was thorough and addressed everything and was reasonable. The men showed up on time, explained each step, were extremely considerate and neat. They ran into a snag in the smoke chamber and worked tirelessly until they’d solved the problem and created a tight seal. Michael was a perfectionist. They answered all questions and left my place spotless. AAA+
We had bats in our chimney and the flue could not close. Yesterday, the bats were all removed. Today Mr. Douglas Lee came into our house. He patiently thoroughly checked everything and helped us fix the rusted flue. He patiently explained the bat situation and helped us understand the situation better. We feel so enlightened by his education. He recommended great options to allow us to consider the next steps for the old chimney. He is super knowledgeable and so pleasant to work with. I will definitely consider American Chimney services if we decide to keep the chimney in the future. Mr. Douglas is the best!
