As a big skincare fanatic, I was looking for the newest lifting treatment (XERF) and skin boosters (Re20) around NY/NJ. I came across Clear Skin in Fort Lee, NJ beginning of 2026 as they were running Lunar New Year specials for both and decided to give them a try. Since Feb 2026, I've done 2 sessions of Re20, 1 session of XERF 900 shots and an aesthetic facial - all in separate sessions (5-6 weeks apart). I have one last XERF 600 shot session scheduled for early April so my review will be based on these treatments. Note, I chose to separate all my treatments because I personally wanted to see the effects of each session to better understand what worked best in addressing my skin concerns.

XERF has quickly become my new favorite lifting treatment and will now be replacing my annual Ultherapy/Thermage sessions. No numbing cream needed, no swelling and no real downtime! I have sensitive skin so I was a bit red after the treatment but was completely fine by dinner time. Your skin will feel dry and warm to touch but that's normal - just make sure you moisturize WELL and often throughout the day 48 hours post-treatment. No ice as you'll want to trap the heat in your dermis for long as possible (that's what triggers collagen production). You will see immediate tightening right after the treatment and your skin will continue to tighten and lift as you produce more collagen the next few weeks/months. The best part about XERF is that it doesn't hurt like Thermage. It feels like a warm iron that's moving around your face and with each pass it gets warmer and warmer. Your dermis has to reach a certain temperature in order to trigger collage production. XERF has also been called the hybrid Ultherapy/Thermage laser as it has similar functions as both lifting devices. Like Ultherapy, it can target your deepest layer of the dermis (SMAS) and like Thermage it can also reach areas of the face Ultherapy can't like the nasolabial folds/jowls/under eyes. My annual treatments included both Ultherapy and Thermage but now I only need XERF because it does the job of both! Best part is that it can target all 3 layers of the dermis without causing fat loss. It's been a month since my first XERF session and people keep complimenting my skin. Its also helped shape the structure of my lower face so it's more of a V-shape as my skin continues to lift! My necklines are nearly gone and my nasolabial folds have improved SO much. My skin is TIGHT. They recommend two sessions to start with to see best optimal results.

Re20 is the newest ECM skin booster out and it's sold out in Cheongdam, Korea for a reason. Other than sagging skin, my biggest skin concerns were related to the quality of my skin like big pores, texture and fine lines. After 2 sessions of Re20, my skin quality massively improved especially under my eyes. Best part about Clear Skin is that their nurses are so well trained with great eyes for aesthetics. Pain level wise...it was definitely way less painful than Rejuran. I'd give it a 3 out of 10. My skin never looked better. Legit glowing!

I highly recommend pairing ECM boosters with collagen stimulating devices/boosters/treatments like XERF for optimal results - by targeting every layer of the dermis, you're able to get even better long-lasting results!

I sought medical aesthetic treatments here and was disappointed with the level of physician involvement. In my experience, I was not able to consult with the doctor prior to payment and initially met only with a treatment coordinator. During some treatment visits, I was told the doctor was unavailable and was seen by an NP instead, which was concerning to me for medical procedures.

I purchased a package of five laser treatments and three exosome treatments. Although multiple lasers are advertised, only one laser was used during my sessions. I was told this was to avoid skin sensitivity; however, my skin still became very dry and sensitive afterward. Based on my prior experience with extensive laser treatments in Korea, this raised concerns for me about how the treatment settings were selected.

The most serious issue occurred when I came in with an active pimple. I was receiving a “Genesis” laser treatment, which is commonly used for acne, but it did not help in my case. When I raised this concern, the doctor offered a steroid injection. I had received similar injections safely in the past and agreed to proceed.

After the injection, I developed increased redness and a noticeable indentation in my skin, resulting in a sunken appearance. I have before-and-after photos documenting this change. After consulting multiple dermatologists in Korea, I was told this type of indentation can occur when a steroid injection is too strong or improperly dosed. I later paid out of pocket for filler to correct the indentation.

Due to a loss of trust, I did not feel comfortable returning for my remaining treatments and requested a refund for two unused laser sessions. This request was denied, and no compensation was offered. Overall, the experience felt high-volume and transactional to me, and I regret choosing this clinic for medical treatments.

I want to remove some sunspots on my face before my daughter's wedding to look better as I had many of them. Dr. Hong did a wonderful job to take care of them with his depth of knowledge, experience and skills. All staff are very friendly, courteous and professional, which makes you comfortable and easy. I do recommend this place.

I had the deep-clean facial treatment last month, and I’m so happy with the results! The staff were friendly and professional, and they explained each step clearly so I felt completely comfortable. My skin feels so much cleaner, smoother, and brighter afterward. The clinic is super clean and relaxing too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real deep clean and glow-up!

I had Skinvive procedure recommended by Dr Hong about 7 months ago. He said it 's just "expensive moisturizer " to make skin glowing. I was left with dozens and dozens of huge bumps which resembled like bad bee stings all over my cheeks and chin. I look deformed. When I confronted Dr Hong and the staff he just said he made a mistake with the procedure and brushed off. After nearly 7 months I still have bad wart like bumps with bad discoloration. Needlessly said I look much much worse now than before with bad permanent skin condition. Dr Hong is an internist not a dermatologist. He and the nurses who perform some of the procedures appear not too qualified and knowledgeable. They should study more about some of the procedures and less of money making. There should be restrictive laws and prohibit some careless practices done by money hungry doctors and nurses.
