“**Updated Review**———————————————Ok, so your customer service representatives at the office want to hang up on customers now? And our Sales Representative does not want to answer phone calls as well?My father and I were going to hold off on writing an internet review in hopes that our situation would be handled differently. Business is business ladies and gentleman. Everyone wants to be nice when business is getting started but when things hit the fan, no one wants to help, to the point where even customer service at the office have the audacity to hang up our calls.The reason why I am giving this review a 2 star rating at the moment is because our experience at the beginning with Window World was great. As another review states, our Sales Representative was great and honest, we didn’t feel as pressured as all Sales Reps from Anderson Renewal usually would do so, which won us over. Our Sales rep also offered us the necessary information that we needed to know right then and there.To cut to the chase, our windows were installed mid February in 2021, please keep in mind that our windows aren’t even 3 years old yet. As a brief background we installed 4 sets of windows and our patio door. Around December 2022, we began to realize, for what seemed to be dirt “build up” on our living room main window (front of house). But one day out of curiosity I decided to attempt to clean the “dirt build up” from our living room main window but to my surprise it was not coming off and at that moment realized that the build up was in between the glass, which immediately raised our concern that this was a major issue. We reached out to our Sales Rep towards the end of December 2022 to early January 2023 and advised of the situation. Throughout that time we began to also realize more of that “build up” in 2 of our upstairs windows as well, room 2 and master bedroom as you may see in the pictures attached. Once we advised our Sales Rep, our Sales Rep got to work and told us that they would take care of this issue and first told us that our replacements were going to be in mid April. Mid April comes around and we receive a call stating that our replacements were ordered “incorrectly” and that only the ‘glass’ was sent in and not the entire window fixtures. Once again, our Sales rep advises that this time around our windows would be replaced mid May. It is now May 27, 2023 and we still do not have a solid ETA on our window replacements. It is incredibly disappointing and extremely embarrassing to have our front “new” windows look like this. It is embarrassing to have our neighbors ask, “did you just not install new windows and they already look old?” And even more embarrassing to have recommended 2 families to window world who installed new windows to their homes as well thanks to my recommendation and now, not knowing if this was even a good idea to do so as we don’t know that this may also happen to their windows. We speculate that maybe when our windows were made at the factory, they weren’t built properly as it was during the time where COVID-19 had taken a toll on production world wide and companies were trying to stay alive and produce as much of their product as possible, causing for these issues to arise. That is just our theory. But we are highly disappointed at the fact that we want our windows replaced, and things are constantly being pushed back. We were promised outstanding customer service but as of now that promise has been tainted as we are now being ignored and hung up on, when we just want to follow up and receive an accurate ETA on our window replacements. Replacements for existing customers should not take 6+ months. If you are looking to replace your windows and invest in your home, though the grand total may sound absurd, it may in fact be worth it down the line when you run into issues like these.*** this review is subject to change once replacements have been installed ***“
