“It's a nice place and June is the best! Do not go with Maria. She doesn't know what she is doing and on top of it all, has a major attitude. She messed up 2 of my nails when I kindly asked her to fix them because the polish was smudged on the bottom, she gave me an attitude and asked June to fix it. She didnt even thank me for my tip after that and just walked away. She is nasty and doesn't belong doing nails or in customer service.”

“So there are two listings for the same salon. I will be duplicating this review for the other listing since there are two.<br>This listing and reviews are what brought me to Waves.<br>I needed a haircut badly. My hair had many dead ends and was frizzing and tangling easily.<br>After seeing whose name came up the most I went to Noreen for my cut and style.<br>Booking the appointment was so easy. I made the appointment online which was great for me. It was also a day they were closed so I didn’t have to worry about waiting for them to open and forgetting to call. I can always book it whenever. And the text/email reminders were so helpful.<br>I was worried about parking but that turned out to be a nonissue. The area of Cranford is very nice but isn’t as busy as the downtown area. It is street parking. But not metered. And I found a spot right out front in the shade! It is currently an excessive heat watch so shade is helpful. And I mean it was right out front and it was an end spot so I didn’t even have to parallel park.<br>I got there a little early. Checked in and everyone was very nice. They made sure I didn’t park in the back lot which is for residents. So helpful.<br>I met Noreen and she was so very nice.<br>I got my hair washed by Fiona and she was also very nice. Easy to chat with. The chair and sink were very comfortable. Sometimes the sinks hurt my neck but this was not an issue. It was very relaxing.<br>Then Noreen and I talked about what I wanted done with my hair. She made extra sure that I was comfortable with the length of my hair and my new curtain bangs and face frame. Did exactly what I wanted and did it amazingly!<br>Sometimes stylists want to “thin” out my thick hair or give me layers but I prefer not to get that done. Noreen did not do this which I appreciated. She really was attentive. Again she also was so easy to talk to. So friendly.<br>She knew I was going out that night and styled my hair wonderfully. Even told me how to freshen it up later and how to recreate the look on my own.<br>I was curious about the MagicShield keratin treatment and she told me everything about it! Not only the price but how long it would take, four hours, which is important information! Informed on everything. It was very helpful.<br>Finally I’ll just comment on the salon itself. It’s pretty large but not crowded which is nice. Plenty of space between stylists so you’re not crammed in. It looks very sleek. Plenty of light. A nice sitting area. I really do love how open it was. It was also clean and updated. Lots of natural light as well.<br>There was no surprise charges and they even had Apple Pay available. The receptionist knew who washed my hair and everything I had done. I was able to leave a tip in an envelope with her so I didn’t have to find or interrupt anyone.<br>So to sum it up I will be going back and I do highly suggest this salon.<br><br>Requested style: I wanted a significant amount of hairs cut and a curtain bang that flowed into a face frame.<br><br>Hair type: Very long hair to a tad longer than shoulder length. Very thick and takes longer to cut and is harder to cut well. Noreen cut it amazingly well.<br><br>Stylist: Noreen was amazing and so very nice. Was able to handle my thick hair.”
“Great experience, strong waxing (Even though I was inadvertently waxed on the inside and there was some bleeding). It was a mistake and I should’ve said something when I felt the wax on the inside of my labia. I will request her again.”

“This review is for Ebony at the short hills EWC. Ebony is far and away the best eyebrow wax beautician I have had in 20 years. She perfectly executes my request of very thin arched eyebrows. In addition she doesn’t mind having a second person in the room - sometimes I have my mom - to also make sure the brows look great after wax (it’s hard to judge your own brows). I highly recommend Ebony.”

I was able to get in quick and Tammy did a full set with French cat eye in 1 hour and 20 mins. She tried different base colors because I wanted a certain look and it came out even better than what I described. Prices are incredibly reasonable. So impressed!!”

“My husband and I have been going to RS Beauty for our haircuts, and every visit has been a great experience. They always do an amazing job and we're consistently happy with the results. We even trusted them with our haircuts before our wedding and they turned out to be amazing! I also regularly go there for eyebrow and lip waxing and they do an excellent job every time.<br><br>One thing we really appreciate is that we're usually able to walk in without an appointment and they always accommodate us quickly with very little wait.
