If I could give 10 stars I would! Have been twice for haircuts and once for a blowout in the past year and each time I’ve walked away feeling my best! They really take their time and are experts I. Their craft. Taline and Moon are amazing, as is Tori! I’m pretty picky and have thick hair, and I’ve found my place for sure!

Tuesday, 27th Jan 2026 after the storm.
This review is NOT about hair styling. It’s about service. Earlier today, I was fortunate to find a hair product that my wife was desperate to have for an upcoming business trip. Fortunately, the shop at 32 N Dean Street has it in supply. I called and spoke to a very cool person who took the extra step of asking for my name so she could set it aside for easy pickup. That’s a very kind move. She told me the shop closes at 8PM. After work, I decided to double check the closing time. Again, I was told 8PM.
So, I drove to the salon from Yonkers, NY (40 minute trip). Got to the salon at 7:50. Two employees were there telling me the place is closed. I tried to appeal to their kindness. I told them I traveled from Yonkers. I told the product has been set aside for me. Instead, I was treated as if I might stick the place up.
Sensing that I told them I could slide the card under the door. Then I resorted to telling them I’d give them cash, don’t worry about the change. Again, I’d slide it under the door, walk across the street, and they could leave the product outside the door and re-lock it. In the end they said they would call the cops on me. Nice. It would appear that they define closing as the time the employees leave, rather than the time business is concluded. On the plus side and based in their reviews, I feel certain they’re excellent at styling hair. However, based on my experience, I question their approach to customer service. I have the photo of the two (possibly three) employees, but there’s no need to put anyone on that level of blast. If an employee wants to ask questions, then I’m definitely available for that. BTW, now I have to drive back here tomorrow to pick up the product. Nothing like driving in a lot of snow and ice between states. Can’t say I feel customer appreciation.

I called last minute for a haircut and gloss to go back to my natural hair color and Jeislyn was able to squeeze me in. She did an amazing job and it turned out better than I even expected! I will definitely come back. So happy with the results!!

Mara did an absolutely amazing job on my haircut and color—I am beyond obsessed with the results! She truly listened to what I wanted and brought it to life even better than I imagined. The cut is so flattering and the color is perfect—rich, fresh, and exactly what I was hoping for. She is incredibly talented, professional, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I left feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend Mara to anyone looking for a transformation they’ll love!

After 20 years with the same hair dresser, I needed a new start. My hair was over process from over process highlights. I found Moxie to be what I was looking for. Salon is very clean, the towels don't have a musty smell. Just to name a few Chansey, Bruno and Rita are very nice they work as a team. My hair texture is improving little at a time. Thank you Moxie
