My driving instructor who I could only work with for 20 hours guided me on the right path to passing my driving lesson on my first try! Even with a short pause in between my lesson I was still able to get back on the right path to learning the do’s and don'ts of the busy roads of NYC being able to tour the area while learning gave me the tools to be ready for anything. “I was very anxious when I first started taking driving lessons with Ideal Driving School. As someone who has always struggled with anxiety and who was learning to drive later in life, I found the whole experience quite overwhelming. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to have Carlos as my instructor, and he made all the difference.

Carlos was an incredibly kind and patient instructor. He was never frustrated, impatient, or unkind, even when I was anxious or pessimistic. Instead, he always kept things positive, encouraged me, and reminded me that I was capable of doing it.

He even called me on the morning of my driving test to check in, see how I was feeling, and offer some last-minute advice and encouragement. Well, I took my test today—and I passed! I genuinely don't think I would have had the confidence to do it without Carlos's support and encouragement.

“I called them up to schedule a 30-minute practice/refresher session with them right before my road test. Scheduling was an easy and accommodating process.

I was assigned Melissa as my instructor. Before the session with Melissa, I was worried that I needed more practice time because my parallel parking skills were a little suspect. Plus, my K-turn sometimes involved using 5 points instead of 3 points consistently. However, after getting instructions from Melissa for a few minutes, I nailed both the parallel parking and K-turns in the practice session easily. Melissa has a technique for both parallel parking and K-turns that makes it very easy to master. In fact, I actually think it might be harder to fail the parallel parking and K-turns if you follow her technique. Her technique makes it a lot easier to excel. This gave me much-needed confidence going into the road test.

Melissa also gave me a few pointers about other aspects of the road test that made everything easier and ace the road test. Melissa's instructions were very easy to understand and apply when taking the road test and driving in general.

The 30 minutes refresher session was more than enough time to prepare me for the road test. I am very grateful and lucky to have chosen this service when preparing for my road test.“

“Mr. Tony is great driving instructor. My daughter passed her road test today without any issues. Mr. Tony is very knowledgeable and very patient with young adults. My second daughter already took the 6 hrs lesson with him and she is very confident while she drives. She will be taking her road test in November 2026 and definitely we will call Mr. Tony to take her for her road test. My third daughter will turn 16 yrs April 2027 and we will sign her up again with Alpine driving school and Mr. Tony as her instructor. I give Mr. Tony 110%. He is very punctual he is a great driving instructor.“
