Tesla Supercharger is located within Jersey Gardens Mall near Newark Airport. It offers fast charging speeds of up to 250 kW per hour. The Supercharger has many charging stations, including some for non-Tesla EVs. While convenient, the location can be very busy during the day. Customers recommend visiting during off-peak hours for a smoother experience. The area is clean and has garbage cans for trash disposal.
Lots of space, though it may get crowded when the mall is busy. Easy to get to and easy to find. You have a Ruby Tuesday & IHOP right behind the charging station and of course you have the mall if you want to eat and get out and walk around. Be warned that these are 250KW chargers and they charge pretty fast. Oh and there's Electrify America chargers of you need it. But why would you if you have a Tesla 🤣
This is very close to the Newark airport. From the northbound I-95 it's slightly difficult to find. The chargers are at the Mills at Jersey Gardens. It's got a lot of Superchargers, in the busy NY/NJ area I prefer available chargers versus a short wait.
The more accessible Elizabeth supercharger that's nearby has a 5 minute wait.
This is a 250kw hour high speed charger. I am getting 85kW to 90kW.
It's a walk to the Mall, you can get your steps in!
For entertainment you can watch the ducks!
It was almost full, but there were a couple of empty Tesla spaces and the charging was super fast 250 kW per hour. Rest of the parking lot was nearly completely full, made navigation around the parking lot, quite slow and tricky.
