“I’ve gone here twice in the last 5 years for two separate repairs : Dell G3 screen hinge repair, and a motherboard replacement.

Replaced the damaged screen in its entirety, and ensured the (really poorly designed Dell) screen frame would be fine. Still is today.

2 Years later, I brought in a PC with a fried motherboard. After bringing it in, they swapped it out for a new motherboard of equal strength and value. Also checked all other connections to make sure they won’t cause a fault with the new board. That PC has been running at full strength for the 1.5 years since.

PC and laptop repair isnt cheap, these guys were well within price reason and quick turnaround. Definitely coming back with any equipment I can’t fix on my own.“

“I recently unearthed, a rather dated Acer laptop, that was used at my last command, as a training station. Specifically for drone FPV flight simulator training. Once I retired, I packed it away. I now manage a company that has a drone training program, so thought it would be nice to have it resurrected, however, nobody seemed interested in refurbing a special application laptop that was over a decade and a half old. That is, until I found Ed, at E & S Computer Repair. As soon as I talked to him, he agreed it could be saved, as opposed to being replaced, and he guaranteed it would be less than half of what I would cost me to replace it. Ed is an Analog Wizard, at least to me. He replaced the HD, doubled the Ram, and tuned it up for increased speed and efficiency required to run sim environments. Ed is also very good at tailoring hardware and apps, to specific work functions required, which was important to me in this case. In the end, I paid about a 3rd of what it would have cost me for a similarly equipped new one. Ed is now our computer guy for both our business, and our personal devices, and he is a blessing.“

“I own a commercial property in Vernon, NJ and needed assistance with my existing security camera system. I found Dave Van Pelt at VP Security through Google and reached out to him via phone. When Dave came out to my property for a free assessment, he was knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything needed to upgrade the DVR system and replace one of my cameras. After the assessment, Dave was very quick to provide me a detailed estimate of what I would need to get my system up and running and what it would cost. Dave was very communicative throughout the entire process. He kept me up to date on when equipment had been ordered and when it arrived. The day of the installation, he walked me through how to operate the software of the DVR and how to access the camera system on my phone and the web. After the install, he sent me a follow-up email that contained a detailed information sheet of everything we discussed relating to the new DVR. I will absolutely be hiring Dave at VP Security to help me in the future.“
