“My husband and I discovered water damage to the wood floor under our laminate in the condo we had just bought - it had clearly been there for a while, and the floor was so warped the laminate was bursting out. It was right in the middle of our living room and our apartment was already a wreck from getting ready for a new baby, so we were distraught, especially when most of the companies we reached out to quoted astronomical figures and/or said they would only do the project if they could redo the whole room. We needed the apartment to be safe for a new baby, but also couldn't afford to redo our whole apartment. Ishmael and Great American Hardwood Floor literally saved us - they gave us a reasonable quote just off of photos, explaining that it could be more if the subfloor was involved but reassuring us that it didn't seem that way from what they could see. Once we agreed, they showed up the next day and had it all fixed within a few hours, even replacing the laminate we had saved and cleaning the whole area after.
