“Everyone who works at this location is very gracious and kind. I came into the office in tears and in pain from a toothache. The X-ray tech was very calm and professional with me, as I was a difficult patient. On to the doctor, I believe he said Dr. Shah, he was absolutely kind. He empathized and truly wanted to find the tooth that was causing me such pain. Once the pain radiates, it’s hard to tell which one it is sometimes. He certainly found the one that was cracked and even showed it to me in the mirror. He explained my options were an extraction or root canal with crown. Extraction would have saved me money but it’s my #3 tooth in the front. He wrote me a pain med script and sent me out to financial. The young lady’s name was Maura and I’m here to tell you - she was the best. They should really give that girl a raise for how much she cares for people. I also found out she had answered my call earlier when I’d mentioned my pain and such. Unfortunately their endo doc was unavailable until January and due to insurance restarting at the beginning of the year and the amount of pain I was in, did not want to wait that long. She literally wrote me up a referral, gave me a recommendation and had the doctor sign it for me. I was stunned. Typically the practice wants you to spend your money there but that wasn’t their concern. Helping me was. I hope Maura reads this because I want to let her know how amazing she is. I called the Exclusively Endo place she recommended and was able to get in on Tuesday of next week. I will for sure be back for future cleanings and care because I trust these people. Honestly, thank you.“

I am always very nervous at dentist appointments but Donna’s amazing personality kept me going . She was so warm and gave me such great information. She told me everything that she was doing while she was doing it . Most importantly she told me the WHY. I finally have some better knowledge of what’s going on and how to prevent certain things from happening . When Dr. Donn came in he was just as pleasant as always and and explained to me what the next steps were in my treatment and why it’s important . The receptionist were every kind , helped my schedule my next visits and gave me estimates of the out of pocket cost my next visit would be. Anyone who needs a dentist, this is the place to be !“

“I was a new patient. First time visiting this dentist. I had two crowns that I needed to get replaced. This was the third set of crowns that I'm getting. Made a big mistake coming to Amara Dental, Dr. Jordan ruined my teeth. Be cautious coming here and getting dental work done. Regardless of how many positive reviews they may have, they do make mistakes and the mistakes that they make, people have to live with for the rest of their lives. She didn't disclose to me that she was going to shave down the adjacent teeth to my crown and lower the level of my crown. She created a situation where she shaved down my teeth and now the bottom row of my teeth do not aligned properly. I'm a grown woman I'm 43 years old and I look absolutely ridiculous. Being customer-facing makes it even 10 times more difficult to have to walk around and look the way that I do now after Dr Jordan decided to play arts and crafts with my teeth. She shaved down two perfectly good teeth that had already been reshapened previous with the other crowns that I had done years ago. She didn't disclose to me that she was going to completely change the alignment of the bottom row of my teeth I look absolutely ridiculous I'm a grown woman and I have to look like this for the rest of my life. The only solution that she was able to come up with is for me to pay to have crowns put on the teeth that she destroyed. So now I'm pretty much walking around with shaved down teeth and a crown that doesn't come up to the level that it should come up to. everytime I say a word with the letter S at the beginning you can hear a whistle come from my mouth because she removed a section and now the air flows differently in that area and I Whistle every time I say a word with that starts with the letter S. it's ridiculous when a person customers point it out. To add insult to injury like a big punch to the face they sit there and constantly send you nonstop emails and text messages if you have any balance due with them and if you don't pay it right away they keep adding money on to it until you do pay it. I was given no explanation as to why I still owed money even though I paid in my balance full nobody disclosed to me that I had money that was still owed and due they just kept sending constant non-stop emails and text messages bombarding me. There are much better dentist out there, dentist that have more experience and that have been in business a lot longer than this place. I would have went back to the original dentist that did the crowns in the first place but my insurance didn't cover that particular dentist. I highly suggest you do your research, read the reviews and don't focus on the positive reviews, read the negative reviews because of those are the real true, authentic, genuine reviews that you need to be focusing on. Amara Dental, thanks for ruining my teeth, I have to walk around looking like this for the rest of my life. Word of Mouth goes a long way. I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the board of dentistry in Newark the Attorney General's office.“
