Our home-buying journey was definitely not an easy one. We dealt with several unexpected issues and stressful moments along the way, but those circumstances were outside of Movement Mortgage’s control. What really stood out to me was how the entire Movement team worked together to help us navigate everything and ultimately get us to closing.
I especially want to recognize Peter, who was instrumental in getting us on the right path from the beginning. He listened to our situation, helped us understand our options, and ultimately connected us with Jason. Peter was knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely invested in helping us find a way forward. I’m extremely grateful that our path led us to him because that connection made a huge difference in our home-buying process.
Jason was also knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful throughout the loan process. He took the time to explain things and made sure we understood our options without ever making us feel pressured.
I also want to recognize Sarah and Jessika, who worked behind the scenes as our loan processor and loan process assistant. So much happens behind the scenes with a mortgage that borrowers probably never see, and I really appreciate the work they put in to keep everything moving. They were responsive, organized, and worked quickly, especially when we were getting close to the finish line.
One of the biggest things that stood out about Movement Mortgage was the communication and teamwork. After previously dealing with a large bank where communication and responsiveness became frustrating, the difference was noticeable. With Movement, I felt like there was an actual team working on our loan and people we could reach when we had questions or something needed attention.
There were definitely bumps in the road during our home-buying journey, but through all of it, Peter, Jason, Sarah, and Jessika worked together to help us get to closing. I never felt like we were just another loan being processed.
Buying your first home can be overwhelming, and having people who are knowledgeable, responsive, patient, and willing to explain the process makes a huge difference. I’m incredibly appreciative of the entire Movement Mortgage team and everything they did to help us finally get the keys to our new home.
