If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. I went to John for highlights — something I’ve done for years and know well — and it was immediately clear that he didn’t know what he was doing. The highlights he gave me were completely discolored, with harsh orange tones. I came back and asked him to tone it down to a caramel blonde, which is what I always get after highlights. Instead, he turned my hair blue, and my highlights turned green and silver.
I was in shock. I literally started crying and asked, “Why is my hair blue?!” He casually responded, “Don’t worry, it’ll come out now,” and then proceeded to apply excessive heat with a blow dryer and flat iron, as if frying my hair was going to fix anything. Spoiler: it didn’t. My hair is damaged, discolored, and I’m still dealing with the emotional stress of it.
What made the experience even worse is that while this was happening, he tried showing off in front of another customer, acting like everything was going exactly as planned — as if this was the look I asked for. He even tried to blame me, making it seem like I was the one who asked for the results I ended up with. The gaslighting was unreal.
These photos don’t even do it justice, but you can still see some of the blue and silver in my hair. Please save yourself the time, money, and emotional trauma. Go to an actual professional — I paid a lot for my hair to look far worse than when I walked in.

They don’t really listen and do as they want. You’ll show them a variety of pictures and they won’t bother to even look at them or analyze them.Don’t go here if you want to be listened to.
