“Recently my daughter and I traveled to Bay-head NJ for a wedding. We found a charming hair salon - La Luz Salon at 82 Bridge Avenue.

Luz, Liz, Robyn, Kelley, and Robin are all well trained technicians with years of experience.

The most fascinating part of our time at La Luz was the conversation. Real women talk. With male clients sauntering in to join in the confab.

The shop and propietor reminded us of Dolly Parton’s character, “Truvy Jones” and her back of the house salon in the 1989 Steel Magnolias movie.

Ever focusing on beauty - the staff was welcoming. The entire time, it was as if you were coming over for a cup of tea or a glass of champagne, which they offered.

The results of two days of hair treatments were outstanding. Camera ready at the Bay-Head wedding.“

“I really love this salon but have to leave this review for the other girls out there with bangs. I stopped in for a bang trim with a different stylist than my usual and was under the impression a bang trimming was free of charge, my usual stylist had mentioned this to me last hair cut. While I completely understand paying for a service I was a little taken back when I was charged $19 for a maybe 5 minute bang trim. I wish I was told beforehand that a free bang trim is only granted when I am with my normal stylist, I would have just waited otherwise. I will still be coming back for my hair cuts as I do love this place and the stylists, I just wish this process was communicated better!“
