Karen’s Deep Stretch Yoga class is phenomenal, with pose recommendations and timing that have helped one person make more progress than formal physical therapy. Maria’s class has a calm, nurturing energy, offering options for yogis of all levels. The studio is a place to explore the unknown and stay grounded, where one always meets a new friendly someone and leaves feeling relaxed. Services include yoga classes, kirtan, workshops, Reiki sessions, and more. For a New Year’s Day Manifest Workshop, the studio was intimate, beautiful, and inviting, with calming and captivating teachers. Karen’s Deep Stretch Yoga class on Thursday nights is phenomenal. I’ve been going occasionally over the past six months, and I’ve made more progress than with formal physical therapy or years of yoga practice elsewhere. Her pose recommendations, timing for pose holds, and weighted assists have been a game changer. I feel like I’m successfully countering the long hours sitting at work at week, and have gotten back into running more comfortably than I would’ve thought with these classes part of my routine!
Maria's class is one of my favorites at any local studio! She has a calm, nurturing energy, eases into practice at a good pace and offers options for yogis of all levels. You'll get a good workout, but leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
