I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Marilyn Peterson at BJ's Optical. She knows the true meaning of outstanding customer service! Marilyn was professional, knowledgeable, and fun to work with. She took extra care to make sure all the measurements she took would get the best results for my progressive lenses.I was told it would take 10 working days but BJ's got my glasses finished and delivered to the store in less than a week. After having significant issues with previous glasses from a different source I was pleased to find my new glasses and sunglasses were properly crafted on the first go.Marilyn made a quick adjustment to the nosepieces and the fit, feel, look , and view through the glasses was perfect.And to top off the already great service, I received a handwritten thank you card in the mail from Marilyn a few days later. WOW! You never see that any more!I highly recommend BJ's Optical in W Lebanon, NH to everyone. Another perk is that membership is NOT required for optical services.
This is a 5-star review of Marilyn Peterson, more than the general BJs Optical shop.I have never bought a pair of glasses before. My optometrist, who works with an optician and sells glasses in their practice, actually encouraged me to look at heavily discounted options via websites or big box stores, so I could try different styles at a low cost before investing in a 5-10yr pair. On a whim, I stopped at the BJ's optical desk. Marilyn was fantastic! She quickly showed me several options. She offered honest opinions about what looked professional or casual; she pointed out features that might look dated in a few years; and Marilyn encouraged me to take a few pictures, think about about, and come back if I had further questions.My partner, who has worn glasses for years, even remarked that she clearly knew her business! Marilyn is there Tues-Weds 10am-4pm, Fri 11-7, and Sat 9-4. She was kind, helpful, knowledgable, and quick without being pushy. 5-star review for Marilyn!
