“We've been working with Dockham Builders for 2.5 years on a multi-phase renovation on our home in Rye, NH. During that time, ownership transferred to Keith Dockham and we have been very pleased with the outcome of our home. I would recommend working with Keith and the Dockham team.- The team: Janelle helps home owners though the design phase and has numerous contacts with local suppliers. She also has a keen eye and goes above and beyond to offer helpful suggestions. Amy who helps with financials in the office is incredibly responsive. Our project manager Brian has great attention to detail, follows-up, and takes constructive feedback with the best intentions to get the job done right. Finally, Nate who did much of our carpentry work on-site has been excellent. On his last day of work on the project, my five year old became so accustomed to seeing him in the morning before the bus arrived that she gave him a hug. The entire team truly creates a welcoming environment.- The quality: The quality of the work is high. When something isn't done correctly, they often point it out themselves and make it right. In addition, there were change orders that arose after we saw selections in place and figured out it wouldn't work long-term for our family. Dockham was always collaborative to work with us on a solution to ensure our project was everything we wanted it to be.- Customer service: For Dockham, their customer service doesn't end on Friday at 4 p.m. You can use their app to communicate with them at any time and there were multiple times through the project where I had to reach out on nights and/or weekends to ensure we had questions answered to keep the project on track. For example, during our construction, we experienced severe storms. I came to the house and there was some water in one area of the renovation. A call to Keith on Sunday and he was there with Jeff within a half hour to assess and remedy the issue.- Timeliness: A big reason we selected Dockham was that we didn't need to wait months to get our project started. They have dedicated subs that help keep projects running on-time. Our second phase was done a couple weeks early.Best of luck with your renovation project! DHB did our full basement renovation, converting the space into a full mother-in-law suite. My experience working with Jason was by far the best experience I’ve had in working with a contractor. He is EXTREMELY patient, professional and knowledgeable. It was very easy working with him and I felt like he really understood the importance to us when we would change our mind on a decision pertaining to construction. He is a great communicator and PM. It was also evident by observation of his crew. They worked very diligently and professionally, showing up to work most mornings before I even got out of bed, which I really appreciated. Alec went above and beyond, once removing the old material, he bent the new metal to show the beveled design from the old wooden window casements.
