I brought my 8 year old in for a haircut. I have seen what the space previously was, and the transformation alone of the space was absolutely incredible. It felt warm, welcoming, cozy and a perfect mix of modern and “lake life”.
Mikayla is a master at her craft- her constant demand is a true testament of that. However, her care and personality are equally wonderful. She took the time to chat with my son about his hair and his wants/desires for the style.
While it may not seem like a big deal, even 8 year olds can get antsy and uncomfortable with the tiny hairs during a barber visit. Mikayla was swift with minimizing this factor and was engaging and welcoming.

Best haircut and beard trim I’ve ever had — Mikayla is amazing. The whole experience felt personal and professional with a straight razor shave to top it all off. Her shop is on point and easily the most comfortable and high-quality barbering experience I’ve had. Highly recommend!
My husband and I brought our 2.5 year old in for his first haircut during our family vacation. Mikayla was well-prepared with multiple stuffy friends for our son to choose from and was calm and cheerful as she explained to him what she was doing every step of the way. She did a fabulous job balancing professionalism with enthusiasm and transformed our straggly toddler into a handsome little boy! We look forward to returning soon! Thank you!
