“We came to the ER for our dog Rory to get his stitches checked out because we believed they were infected. They were able to clean up his area and treat him probably. Dr. Penraat did a great job explaining what was wrong with Rory and taking care of him.“

All Dogs Gym & Inn Pet Boarding Training

“All Dogs Gym is a very special place that I wholeheartedly recommend to any dog parent! My dog is a highly anxious, dog-reactive sweetheart who has a lot of needs, and her medications are constantly changing. The staff at All Dogs have always gone out of their way to make both Bella and me feel comfortable. They take the time to get to know her, pay attention to how she's doing, and keep me updated when she's there. They've even been able to tell me when they've noticed positive changes from medication adjustments, which means a lot to me. I could never imagine boarding Bella anywhere else. We've moved farther away and are still willing to drive two hours just to board her at All Dogs Gym, which I think says everything about the level of trust we have in them.“

American K-9 Country Pet Boarding Training

“I refuse to do agility training anywhere but American K9 Country. I drive 2.5 hours every week for class because I know there is no place around that compares to AK9C. As someone who works as a dog training instructor, I have come to find that the dog training field is flooded with people that are great trainers but not great teachers (or vice versa). AK9C is owned and staffed by trainers who are not only seasoned and accomplished handlers, but also wonderful teachers.

I was introduced to AK9C years ago before I had my current dog, but already had an interest in agility. I immediately knew after visiting the facility that this is where I would bring my future dog to train. I began taking agility classes with Nick in the spring of 2025 and it has become something to look forward to every week since. I immediately felt welcomed despite being in a class with handlers who had more experience than me. Nick is the ideal teacher who adapts his teaching to the handler and dog in the ring while still holding everyone to the same standards. He gives constructive criticism in a very productive way and makes sure his students know what they did well even when they are being hard on themselves. He has helped push me to begin competing for the first time and educated me on all that I need to know for trial day.

I have only competed in one agility trial at AK9C so far, but the experience was great. Other handlers were very friendly and supportive and I feel like that is a reflection of the culture that AK9C has created.

Between all of this and the ever-improving facility, I have never even considered doing agility training elsewhere.“

“Chris has been wonderful! Within our first meeting, we put together so many puzzle pieces of factors that were likely leading to physical touch challenges, aggressions, and anxiety with our puppy. His suggestions have already made such a significant positive change in what our day to day looks like and our dog is visibly happier, calmer, and seeks our more scratches and cuddles everyday. All in less than 2 months, I can only imagine the positive changes that will continue to come. Thank you Chris, highly recommend reaching out to him!“

“I’ve known the staff here for years, and have had multiple dogs train with them. The owners and staff are great at what they do, and are wonderful people. We have used board and train sessions for our Cane Corso and GSD, the group classes are a great setting for socialization for your dog after completeing the initial training. Please do not hesitate to bring your dog to KB and First Choice Canine, the results speak for themselves.“
