Determined Martial Arts has been incredible for my daughter! She's learning quickly, and is gaining more confidence with every class! DMA has created a wonderful community with learning and events to bring the families together. Thank you for all that you do!

The instructors at Determined Martial Arts are absolutely amazing! They are knowledgeable and experts in their craft! Their dedication to their students is impeccable! They have been great motivators and empowered my daughter from the moment she started with them as a Tiny Tiger (she has since progressed in rank). Their words of encouragement and engagement with her have kept her focused,disciplined, and confident! I highly recommend Determined Martial Arts!

Determined Martial Arts has been like a second family! The support, the care, and the encouragement that is offered, not just from the staff, but also the other participating families is incomparable to any other experience we've had. Mr. Jones meets you where you are and brings you to heights you didn't even know you were capable of. In addition to being a phenomenal school for martial arts, Determined Martial Arts separates itself from the rest by being there for the family as a whole and not just it's students. Formerly Amherst Karate Studio, Determined Martial Arts was founded in 1991 with the mission to encourage, challenge, and inspire our students to be strong & confident through high quality martial arts training. We are a family-oriented school with the goal of making everyone feel welcome. We meet every student where he or she is to help them grow - whether that means developing coordination, working on focus/self-control, or working around injuries. We don't celebrate mediocrity. In other words, we don't hand out participation trophies. We meet every student where they are, but we also make it clear that they will have to work hard to achieve their goals here.
