“I hired DreamMaker Kitchen & Bath to remodel the kitchen in my more-than-100-year-old home. Before meeting Chuck and Jamie, I’d spent months trying to make big-box cabinets work, but I couldn’t get the functional design I needed. Managing all the different contractors myself also wasn’t realistic with my schedule.
This became a complex project. The design required removing a window to make the space work, adding a door where the window had been, and addressing the home’s structural needs. From our first meeting, Chuck and Jamie listened to my ideas, understood my vision, and were willing to take on the challenges.
They coordinated the project and trades, found an electrician to handle all the electrical work, and managed the flooring vendor’s installation and finishing of the new wood floor, which took place in several stages. They also helped me save money by letting me do some of the demolition myself and advising me on what to remove so they could properly assess the work.
The whole team communicated well, worked around my schedule, and treated my home with care. They handled everything from the initial design and plumbing to the skylights, siding, structural supports, and appliance installation. They painted the walls, installed the cabinets and countertops, and built a beautiful custom shelf based on an idea I shared early on. After all that, they arranged for a thorough cleaning.
I’m thrilled with my new kitchen and get lots of compliments. I plan to ask for their help with my bathroom next!
