A return customer! I have a terra-cotta tile roof, It 96 years old. I reached out to 4 other local roofing company's (2 were based out of Omaha/Lincoln). All 4 came back with bids into the thousands of dollars to fix a leak that had been going on for years (we had bought the house 3 years prior). All four companies wanted to remove a portion of the tiles to find and fix the leaks. And this was not even a guarantee to fix the lake.
Walking down Central street here in Nebraska City i noticed Schoen's Roofing office. Stopped in, explained my leaky roof to Matt Helms. Matt had no issues with his team working on my terra-cotta roof (many roofers stay clear of tile roofs, to difficult, high tile breakage for the inexperienced). I set the appointment up and he explained that Dillon Bowland, a foreman would be out to look at the house and go from there.
Dillion showed up, ontime. Did the estimate on my roof.
The problem was flashing and 1 tile needed repair. All the leaking in my house (my kitchen) was due to poor flashing and a cracked tile.
Now, I wanna point out that the four other companies wanted to charge me anywhere from 14k to 21k. Matt came back with a estimate of $1200.00. Dillon came back did repairs, and it looks fantastic.
And that was a year ago from today November 20th, 2025. A whole year with quite a few rainstorms and no leaking, not one drop came into my home.
Mid October 2025, tree branch (Huge limb) hits my home I made a call to Schoen's Roofing (Matt Helms), Matt Stopped by and let me known Dillon Bowland would be fixing my roof!
Less than 2 weeks after the tree damage, Schoen Roofing had my roof looking good as new!

Nick was so incredibly helpful over the phone aiding us with a busted ignition lock. They didn’t have the exact part for our car, which most places don’t since we have an old weird car, so he walked us through steps we could take to hopefully get the ignition turned.
Right outside Nebraska City, I had a major problem with my camper. I arrived at Mead around lunch time, but the folks there still offered fast service. Within a half hour they had cut up a sheet of plywood and handed the pieces to me so I was able to quickly repair my camper well enough to safely finish my vacation trip.

Today 4/24/26 Cindy cut my hair. My hair is falling out from chemo and I've been scared to cut my butt length hair I've grown for 8 years. Excellent company and crew. Had flooring done throughput my home. The team that came out worked hard and were extremely friendly.Our kitchen and dinning room sub floor was a nightmare and the guys did a excellent job at working with what they had.Best part, we've run into a couple issues with flooring coming apart and Shipley and been very accommodating on fixing these small problems.Highly recommend going through Shipley! The owner , Tammy Woods , is a top notch lady and makes sure she knows what exactly goes on in her salon and that all customers are treated appropriately and leave happy . If for some reason any mishaps and you are not happy with you hair color or the cut didn’t return out just right she is one to do everything she can to try to fix it so that you are happy , she never wants you to settle with so so hair , Tammy is a classy lady and will spread her smile and joy to all !
