There is always going to be some little things you notice afterward. Xcel was very responsive and helpful in making me happy. They use quality products and definitely have an interest in doing things the right way. Matt was at my house within minutes anytime i had a question. I highly recommend them.

The work done was quality.. we had a new roof, new gutters, siding and shutters. We worked with Greg and it was a pain in the butt to get them to do what they said they would do originally at first appointment. We ended up having to pay more money out of pocket on the spot in the end because “he didn’t add it to our bill that was sent for insurance.” Would not use them in the future. Not sure how they get by conducting business this way.

Needed estimate on our home. They never showed. Flipped a house in northern Iowa and the inspector said we needed a new roof. I saw a crew and we ate lunch together. No one had a business card so i took a picture of their shirt, called them, and another no show. I later remembered them as a, "no show" from the earlier job. Titan Roofing was the same way. not sure how they stay in business....

They are too worried about getting as much business as they can, rather than taking care of the customers they have. They literally have signs down my entire block but I can't get them to give me an actual quote. Everything is so delayed, including correspondence. They make you sign an agreement in the beginning of your initial meeting, saying you won't go with another contractor. So now I am one of 30 in the neighborhood locked into this company with no real bid yet.

Tim Coleman was my Xcel rep. He handled my claim with my insurance , met with contractors, took care of my concerns when I had them and did an excellent job overall. They did a great job on my house on Capital Beach.
