Tarnick Chiropractic & Acupuncture PC - Chiropractor in Lincoln NE Acupuncture

“To start, Dr. Tarnick has been incredible in explaining his methods which have been different from treatment I received in California. His methods have been incredible, he is not just masking the pain but actually making things better.

Even before you get to see Dr. Tarnick you are welcomed to his office by two of the most incredible, warm and classy individuals in Morgan and Taye. Wow, just incredible patient care. Good luck finding anyone that can match these two.“

“I did the spinal decompression / IDD therapy for neck pain and it worked for me. I turned my neck wrong some 2 years ago popping something and leaving it so stiff and sore for weeks. Then a couple chiro adjustments helped a little but there had been a constant dull ache/burn that worsened by the end of the day.

SCC was offering a new patient special with x ray and found i have a rather straight neck and my facet joints were close together.
I forgot what she quoted/thought how many appointments it would take for the pain to go away and I remember being skeptical but willing to try anything at this point. She also gave me a couple exercises to do at home to help my neck curve.

I started with the 12 appt bundle over 4 weeks, then followups/maintenance spaced out once every 3+ weeks. They increase the pulling weight increments really slowly at first, so it wasn’t until the last (fourth) week that I felt the machine was actually pulling anything. But i did think my pain was changing, getting more localized- less to one side and more to the center. So i scheduled the followup because I feel like I’ve tried a lot of things already and wanted to give this a real chance.

It wasn’t until a couple weeks After that last appt that I felt the difference! so i stuck with it. The first couple maintenance appts I could feel by week 3 or 4 I should go in for a tune up, but a couple more appts after that and increasing to maybe 5 weeks apart, i feel like 90%+ of the pain is gone and often I even forget about my neck unless I had a hard day. I’ve had 4 more total and might go a couple more times but I think the daily pain is pretty much gone! not sure about the no-curve in my neck tho

Scheduling is really flexible with the same familiar friendly people! insurance doesnt cover but i use my HSA. And unlike a lot of places I feel like they reward/care about clients that stay and not just special prices for new clients.

An IDD tip would be just relax and let your jaw rest against the paddles, dont try to scoot down extra at the beginning.. because that does not help increase the tension and in fact just jams the machine lol

It’s a financial and time investment for sure but the appointments were 20 minutes Tops, maybe up to 30 if both machines are occupied at the same time and people running behind. I would 5/5 recommend.“
