The difference for us though is that Marcos is a local business (which we like to support) and the shutters were being built in house, out of real wood (not composite material) and I felt confident that they would stand behind their work. Within a few weeks, Glen was out to do the install and he was very kind, efficient and courteous. He even took the time to measure some additional windows that we are considering adding shutters to as well. Now that the shutters are up, we are thrilled with them and we love how versatile they are and how they change the look and feel of the rooms they are in. We are very happy with the choice we made and we appreciate that from first call to the install, everyone was friendly and helpful and that the finished product came out better than we had hoped for.“

“Greg and his team were excellent! I had gotten a few bids to completely gut our master shower and replace it all with a higher end shower kit. I was starting to feel a bit lost because the bids were coming in well over what I thought was fair. After reaching out to G&K my hopes were restored as he was able offer way more for less than the other companies. Instead of a shower kit Greg helped us choose everything from the wall and floor tile, metal trim, fixtures and door, so we really got to customize everything to our taste... and it was less than the other guys offering a glorified big box store shower kit. Once our old shower was demo'd out we found a few issues that needed to be fixed, it seemed the previous home owner or previous contractor had cut a few corners... Greg and his team communicated these issues very well and I never once felt like the wool was being pulled over my eyes. Even with these additional repairs, in the end the shower still came in very close to the original estimate and feel like I got an amazing value. I know I got way more for my money with G&K than I would have with the other 2 contractors I received bids from. I will definitely use G&K again if I need other work done in the future.“

“I cannot say enough great thing about Jacob and his team, we had a pavilion built and the company who built it did not do this correctly, we called Jacob and he came out and gave his honest opinion and we hired him to tear down and rebuild the right way. The quality, professionalism and even to the end of the day when cleaning up he tried to leave the area almost cleaner than what he found it. Very punctual, professional and completed on time, we will for sure hire Jacob and TCD renovations for future projects. You laid an extra driveway and replaced different parts of the sidewalk at our current home.Recently you did extensive work at my mother's house. The retaining wall needed to be totally replace because it was leaning into the yard behind us. I'm more than confident that retaining wall will stay in place far into the future due to the professional work that was done. There was evidence of water in the basement through parts of the concrete wall so work need to be done around the foundation. After two torrential rains there was no sign of water in the basement. I couldn't have ask for a better company to help me out of such a mess.Your company does exceptional work that stands the test of time.
