VIP Barber Lounge

Literally parked in front of (and passed by) 4 different barbershops to arrive at our final destination to get here, and it was the best decision I’ve made in awhile.

I’m in NC momentarily for my husband’s 35th high school reunion, and it’s hard to find a perfect barbershop ?, that doesn’t care if your gay, straight, or anything in between… and that have crazy skills with such speed and precision, and can talk to you like family at the same time.

I wish this place was in my zip code, and I want to visit NC more often simply to reconnect with these amazing humans!

Mr. Greg was so welcoming and attentive. My son and I were on our way to Trade St via 6th Street and passed by VIP Barber. We did a double look and decided to stop in. His attention to detail, patience and friendly customer service was wonderful. Not only was atmosphere relaxed and inviting, the other clientele and staff were friendly and inclusive to new comers. Greg's time and attention to the haircut was super appreciated and will have us coming back to his establishment. We rate him over Washington Park and Ardmore.

I came down for a wedding, 17 hours from home. Decided I’d go to a barber for the first time for my beard. Found this place online. Booked with Greg. And I 10/10 recommend. He gave me exactly what I asked. Was very, very great to talk to. Atmosphere was top notch. Service was top notch. I wish I didn’t live 17 hours away, because I would be scheduling on a regular basis with him. Thank Greg for the great beard clean up and shaping.
