Peacehaven family dentistry is excellent. I have been a patient here for over 20 years and have always been treated with kindness and respect. The office is expansive, welcoming and full of employees who obviously love their jobs. From the front office staff (Courtney, and others whose names escape me), my hygienist Dawn (kind, friendly, thorough, and passionate about dental education), and of course Dr Wilkinson (jovial, approachable, seems to remember more about me than I do at times!), I would recommend this dental practice to anyone. I have continued to come here despite moving 45 minutes away several years ago.

Peace Haven Family Dentistry is amazing! I have had several different procedures and they care very much about their clients. They are so understanding and compassionate. I have several dental issues and I’m able to consider different treatments options, provided by their knowledge of what is best for me…not them! ALL of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Becherer is my primary dentist and she gives me options and we can talk about what is best for me. She has been so kind and provides Options that are best for me, so there are no surprises with cost or what is the best course of treatment going forward. I have NEVER had more trust in any Dentist than Peace Haven Family Dentistry. Everyone at the practice provides exceptional service and everyone is welcoming and you can tell that they care about EVERY Patient. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist or want to change to a new dentist. I actually look forward to my appointments and the care from the treatment and staff. This review is years too late, but I moved away and I’ve told so many people out-of-state about how much I loved my old dental practice that I figured it deserved an official review. This clinic has ruined me for other dentists. Dr. Symmes worked with my orthodontist and did some cosmetic build-ups that I was otherwise told could be impossible. He did an incredible job and made the whole process seamless. I am still so happy with the work he did and he treated my daughter like gold during her first dentist appointments. Everyone in that office is so personable and Winston-Salem is lucky to have them!

If you are thinking you are good and your visit is covered because they checked and it’s within network…make sure you check again. Sometimes after your appointment you might just discover….they aren’t in network and they lied.

I recently switched to this dental clinic and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The entire team is professional, compassionate, and attentive to detail. The dentist carefully reviewed my dental history and created a clear treatment plan tailored to my needs. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered patiently. I have been going to Dr. Wilkinson for more than 25 years - beginning when it was a tiny practice with only one or two hygienists. I had the same beloved hygienist for many of those years, until she retired, and was never disappointed. Even though the practice has grown exponentially and has a 'new' name and location: Peace Haven Family Dentistry, and has hired so many additional hygienists, dentists, and office staff, I remain so pleased with every aspect of the service! The environment is always clean, the dental equipment is very modern, the staff is friendly and helpful, and my new hygienist, Dennell, is so thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and personable. It's easy to lose the personal feel as a business once-so-small becomes now-quite-large, but Dr. Wilkinson and his staff (especially Rachel at the front desk) have truly maintained what made the practice so special.
