Amy's Hair Studio is a private salon located in the heart of Winston Salem with ample parking and a beautiful view. The owner is a hair stylist with 20 years of experience who is wonderful, sweet, and amazing. She is known for listening meticulously to needs and concerns, seeing the vision, and providing a customized style. She offers great advice and tips, especially for curly or wavy hair, which she does perfectly. The studio specializes in transformations and haircuts for curly hair, including highlights and cuts. She also makes and installs synthetic loc extensions. The environment is quiet and relaxing, providing a completely different and satisfying experience. Customers highly recommend her, especially for curly hair, and report they will be coming back.
It is so hard to find someone who can do curly hair. Amy did PERFECTLY on my hair. I explained what I was wanting and she saw the vision! I got a 2/3 highlight and a cut with money pieces. She was wonderful and so sweet. I came in with a home cut and highlights from years ago and she transformed my hair. She even brought me a coffee! I will be coming back and recommending to all the curly girls.
Amy was great, and we accomplished exactly what I was looking for with my hair. She gave some great advice and tips for my hair since I have been re-learning my hair since having a hysterectomy last year. I highly recommend seeing Amy if you have curly/wavy hair and are looking for somebody who understands the care it needs.
Amy is absolutely amazing! I have curly hair and have never felt really satisfied with haircuts in the past. My experience with Amy was completely different. She took the time to listen about my hair, my concerns about hair loss and what I was looking for in a haircut. She was meticulous in cutting my hair - no one has ever looked at my hair as thoroughly as she did. The result is a great cut that is perfect for my curly hair. My curls have never looked better!
