I have read all the reviews and I guess they are what was experienced. my mother is 96 and has been with wellcare for about two years for physical therapy and weekly nurse visits. everyone has been nice and I have sat through several visits with her. not until today have I seen a wellcare nurse who is a real nurse, not a visiting stats taker. this nurse Romanta spent so much time attending to my mother's needs, so far above and beyond anything anyone else has ever done. my mother just got out of the hospital and has issues she didn't have before. the kindness, patience, empathy and care she gave was so outstanding I had to leave this review. she is Top Notch in...read full review
They were not professional in the care of my mother. The nurses only took vitals when they visited not useful things such as medication reconciliation. The let insurance authorization expire without following up causing a 3 week break in care for my mom. PT didn't know the MD's orders before showing up. I could go on and on. Never again will my family use these people.
I have been watching my patient for over a year and we live in Hampstead North Carolina. We've had some good nurses we've had some mediocre nurses, but the one we have now is outstanding!!!! She comes in and she washes her hands first off most of the nurses we've had don't come in do not wash their hands do not maintain any type of cleanliness or sterile technique and has ended up with my patient getting a terrible UTI. She's very knowledgeable, she knows what she's doing she's very thorough she goes through all the steps and gets everything right and if there's any concerns she talks about them and doesn't try to rush right out the door.
