I can’t make enough positive comments about NC Heating and Air. My AC unit stopped working on a Sunday night after a day of high 90 degree weather. I was able to book an appointment online for early Monday morning. Nick arrived on time and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour. Nick was the technician and is also the owner of the company. He was personable and efficient and I felt that the price of the repair was reasonable. I plan on contacting NC Heating and Air in the near future to set up a maintenance agreement. I highly recommend this company!
Fan motor went out on our 14 year old HVAC system. NC Heating & Air came out same day and looked at it. They gave me the options: replace the motor or replace the system. Pointed out a number of issues with the system (things Jerry rigged by previous owner, inefficient initial setup, etc). They gave us a portable AC unit to use while we decided. Had one of the big HVAC companies in Wilmington give me an estimate without telling them anything the NC Heating & Air guys told me. They came up with the very same issues, confirming that NC Heating & Air gave an honest recommendation on the replacement recommendation, but at a better price.
