i have had some very judgmental experiences with the dentist! This dentistry was AMAZING and so supportive of my journey! Dr. Zander goes out of his way to explain things, so nothing seems rushed. Despite that, appointments are always on time and completed efficiently. Needed a new crown this visit, but he noticed small cavity in adjacent tooth, so I got a 2-for-1 treatment saving an extra visit!😄

I'm a relatively new patient at the Porter's Neck office. So far each of my experiences have been stellar...from the front end staff, hygienists, and dentist...all were highly professional and personable. So far I have had two teeth extracted and will be going back for intensive cleaning, some fillings, and a wisdom tooth extraction. I can honestly say that I no longer dread a dental procedure because of this group

Needed to have a root canal refilled after getting it redone by having them send me to the orthodontist. Was in and out in under an hour. Very friendly and professional.

Needed a local dental practice upon moving here from Virginia. We were in a practice there for over twenty years, and didn't think we'd find a better fit. We've now been to Smith's Dental (Carolina Beach Rd office) twice for semiannual check up/cleaning visits and couldn't be happier. The front office staff, assistant hygienists and hygienists are superb. We've seen both Drs. Zander and Myers and they were caring and patient. Very highly recommend this practice if seek non-judgmental, gentle, professional dental care

Five stars after my initial visit. Hygienist and dentist both were friendly, professional, and answered my questions thoroughly. I just moved here from Florida and finding a good dentist office was high on my list of priorities. I think my choice was a winner. I highly recommend Smith to anyone seeking a family dentist.
