Great experience with Coastal Carolina Driving School for our 15 year old son! The classroom instruction was informative and helpful for planning ahead. Sue was the best in-car driving instructor! She's so patient and really gets along with teens. I'm embarrassed to say that I learned a few new rules after driving for over 33 years.

Great place to teach your teenagers what they need to know for a great starting foundation of Driver's Education. We now have had two daughters complete their education requirements here and both felt like they are ready to get their permits to extend their knowledge of driving.

I would give zero stars if that was an option.The worst experience I have had with any business in North Carolina. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Little to no communication, and HORRIBLE customer service. I called and emailed multiple times with no response and finally received a phone call in which she was yelling at me after I demanded communication. As a customer i feel that customer service should be an important part of rendering services and there is absolutely none with this company. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

Created an account just to rate how bad this business is.I wouldn’t recommend this business to someone I hate, let alone someone I love or care about. The worst customer service I’ve experienced in the past 10 years, with absent/non-existent communication. I wouldn’t trust my family or loved ones to learn anything about driving from this school. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

My son just completes his drivers ed course. I loved the whole experience. They really love what they do and it shows. The online class was great. They are very strict and except 100% participation which I appreciate. The three 2 hour driving sessions were also great. Each instruction had their own style. My son enjoyed them all. I highly recommend CCDS!

If you TRULY care about what your child learns about driving, and them being the best, safest driver they can be then sign up for this driving school. My daughter just completed it online, so as a parent I had the benefit of being able to often overhear the instruction. It was incredibly satisfying to hear the things that Lynn was covering align so directly with those things we feel are important to know when you are behind the wheel of a car. Some of the best money we have spent recently.

I tried to see which Driving school would be the best fit for my daughter....This school got back with me the quickest...plus it was preferred, as its close to my home. Check in was a breeze...we had pre-paid and registered on-line. (My brother helped with the fees...thanks M - you're the BEST brother EVER)!! The classes (for written exam) were after school from 4-7pm. Besides having a cranky teen from so much school, it was a pleasure. Then, they are required to do 6 hrs. of 'Behind the Wheel' broken up into 3 days....and PRESTO....you have a Teen with a Learners Permit. Note: You MUST have their original (copies are NOT accepted by DMV)...Birth Certificate!! My daughter was born out of State so it was kind of more of a pain to get for her. Special shout out to Renée...she was awesome! And to allllll the instructors (especially Driving Instructors and their Nerves of Steel badges!!). 'Not sure I could do that job!! Thanks y'all, for everything!! My nerves are better since you taught her the basics....plus all thr extra driving they do (one kiddo at a time)!! SOOO much better than having multiple kiddos as in the School Driver's Ed!

My grandson lived in Charlotte, where traffic is insane, so bright him down here to attend Coastal Carolina. I can't st enough good things about then. He had a tricky summer schedule, and I was worried about his getting his Covington in before he had to get back to school in Charlotte. These folks found a way to perfectly accommodate his schedule and mine. Grandson never complained about classes in the summer, so they had to be entertainng. Highly recommend these folks.
