“It was the day after Thanksgiving, and I thought I had scratched my cornea. If you have ever scratched your cornea, you would know the panic that I felt—it hurts so much. I called my now former optometrist, and some other ophthalmologists in town, and got no calls back. It was then that I called Optix Eyecare. She answered the phone, assessed what I needed, and offered to meet me at her office soon after. She removed an object from my eye that felt like a Buick, but was really smaller than a grain of sand. Her staff also showed great professionalism and care. Despite having to work within my strictures, I felt well cared for by all.
