The people here are so helpful and compassionate. My cat went in on Monday and was diagnosed with Cystitis. Unfortunately he became blocked on Tues and was put down last night. My heart is broken but I'm very grateful for Dr. Mike and his team. They kept my Salem and myself as comfortable as possible. I will forever trust them with my babies.

My Annie has been receiving wonderful care after her bout with IMHA back in December. She had 2 blood transfusions at S.A.V.E.S. in Asheville. Dr Abby and everyone else at Junaluska Animal Hospital have been fabulous with her original diagnosis and after care.

I am writing to convey my deep dissatisfaction with the lack of compassion and professionalism at your clinic. My first visit with Dr. Manoli Emmanouilidis was concerning; he misdiagnosed my cat and medicated her inappropriately. I sought a second opinion elsewhere, where the assessment of his diagnosis was met with disbelief.
When my other cat became ill, I hoped for an improved experience. The vet, Abby Mulchi, was outstanding and genuinely caring, but the overall service fell short. The front desk lady offered no assistance in addressing this issue and lacked any emotional sympathy. The only thing that she seemed to care for is the money.
Unfortunately, my cat passed away the following day. I called to ask if they could help dispose of him, since the vet had offered to if it came to this. I was told to park in the back of the vet and walk around. I assumed this was because they would help me with his deceased body. No, there was no help offered. I had to walk all the way around with my limp, lifeless baby. When I brought his body in for communal cremation, the front desk lady exhibited a complete lack of sympathy and demanded payment without acknowledging my loss. I returned to clarify the transaction details but encountered further indifference. The front desk lady did not explain what I was paying for, leaving me uncertain if I had just spent over a hundred dollars for the disposal of my cat's body. When I requested to collect the whiskers and fur at that moment, the front desk lady responded with notable attitude.
This experience has left me deeply upset, and I will not be returning to your clinic. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as no one should face such insensitivity during a time of loss. Thank you.
Edit: I reached out to Diane Nathan to see what other feedback I could give, as requested. She then proceeded to tell me that she “heard a different story” from the front desk lady (who I had not one, not two, but three disrespectful experiences with). She had the audacity to tell me her employees take pride in taking care of their customers both medically and emotionally and that her front desk lady was utterly sorry. Then continued to argue with me, as if this situation was made up in my head. She then told me that moving forward with this vet is probably not for the best, as if I didn’t make that clear as day in my review. Good for you protecting your employees, shame on you for letting your paying customers be treated like this especially in a time of vulnerability.

Dr. Olinde is absolutely amazing. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but she is also very personable and provides excellent care. We had a surprise complicated visit recently and Dr. Olinde provided me with education during the visit, called me with my cat’s lab results, and emailed me with a detailed care plan moving forward. We just had our first follow up visit and Dr. Olinde was spot on with her treatment plan. I cannot brag enough on her medical knowledge as well as her personality. If there were more stars, she’d get them!
Also, the staff is extremely friendly! The scheduling is the easiest of anywhere I’ve seen - you can call or book online. Best of both worlds. Another note - we don’t come here just because it’s close to our house…. I drive a solid 40 minutes because it’s worth it for regular vet needs!
