What is the best kept secret in Waynesville if you guessed the Balsam Spa you would be right !! The surroundings are serene and quiet, tucked away behind the Waynesville Country Club golf course. The staff are professionals at making you feel relaxed. One of the therapists actually teaches massage ! We went several times during the spring and summer and Tracie who mans the desk was always accommodating!! This spa is highly recommended !!

My room was in the historic part of the Waynesville Inn on the second floor. I was able to sleep with my windows open, so the fresh, cool mountain air filled my room. The windows were weighted...meaning they operated on a rope. I was thrilled with the historic aspect of the Inn. Several in our group were in the newer rooms, and commented how much they enjoyed their view. The staff members were extremely attentive, prompt and courteous. Since we were at a Retreat, we took all our meals at the Inn and the food was delicious! I look forward to our return Retreat next year. And a big thanks to Rani. She exemplified exceptional customer service!

Really cute little spa nestled along the golf Course of the waynesville county club & inn. Had the Balsam Spa with Ashley and it was excellent. Based on my request she focused a lot on my lower back and I could feel the pressure just melting away as she worked her magic. Left the spa feeling very refreshed and happy. I thought the pricing was very reasonable ($95 for a 60 minute massage including tip) and will definitely go back when I visit Waynesville again. It doesn't have all the amenities of a larger spa but it's cute and more importantly they get the job done!
