My daughter loves karate to the point she stopped playing softball. She still cheers for her middle school and the time frame works with her schedule (except for away games). I love the fact that they have started teaching gymnastics/tumbling as well. My youngest daughter just started in December and has already learned how to do a cartwheel and certain rolls. She loves it too. She especially does now that she is able to use her Kamas and Bo! Sensei and Mr. Keith work wonderfully with the children. They create a safe and comfortable environment for them to come and learn new life skills. My oldest does pageants and has used karate as her talent. She has even used it as her national platform to help with women empowerment and won the spokesmodel award for her National demonstration. If you are looking for a way to help your child become more independent and better capable of defending themselves then you should definitely consider joining a dojo. Between pageants and this dojo they have done wonders for helping my children open up. It’s also helped them with keeping their grades up.

I just moved to Tabor City and had no clue where to get my hair done. Coastal Mane came highly recommended. I walked in and was given a consultation on the spot by Amanda. I told her I had no idea how I wanted my hair, but I knew I needed a change. She booked my appointment for the next day. I gave her free reign to do whatever she thought would look good on me. I walked in with flat, dirty dishwater blonde hair that washed me out and aged me... I walked out with bouncy, textured, vibrant, copper glazed hair that brought out the color in my face and made my blue eyes stand out! On top of that, the atmosphere of the salon was comfortable. All the stylists were personable and approachable. Even the other clients were extremely nice and conversational. I really liked the entire vibe of Coastal Mane and I plan to make it my regular salon! Thank you, Amanda!
