We recently had a large Heat pump replacement and mini split install with unfortunately a couple of hiccups. The crew at Rutherford Heat and Air responded quickly and thoroughly to resolve all points. Our respect for both Trey and Billy as they went the extra mile and stuck with it until completed. These guys saved me lots of money and frustration. I bought a Mitsubishi Mini-Split system in 2019 from a Spartanburg based Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor (10 year parts warranty). The unit failed so I contacted the original contractor to come out and quote the job to repair it. The quote came in at $2,200 to install a new evaporator coil (apparently all labor and refrigerant cost). A second company quoted me $1,600 for the same work. Both quotes seemed rather high so I did some Google searching and came across Rutherford Heating & Air. I called them and they had a Tech out the same day who quoted me SIGNIFICANTLY less than what the other two companies quoted.... read full review

Michael showed up promptly which I love, was incredibly professional and kind to my daughter. Used shoe protection, gave me helpful tips, and he was all done. Great experience and definitely feel confident that our unit will run good for the summer!
