We love dental derby! Both Dr. Cangas and Dr.Lim are so great with kids. They as well as the rest of the staff go above and beyond to provide information and the best forms of treatment for your littles.

I have noticed some tx being recommended which is unnecessary (dental background here) When we were there today I asked when they started using a prophy brush on kids since we’ve always used them on kids that could handle it when I worked peds. I was told “when they are able, he’ll probably use one next time he comes.” My 2yo has been using a spin brush at home for awhile, never has any issues laying in the chair, rinsing with the suction etc so I was caught off guard on why it wasn’t used. Once my 2yo was finished it was time for my other son to get into the chair and at the end of his cleaning I noticed that the suction and water straw wasn’t changed out between the kids cleanings. (If I had noticed beforehand i definitely would have said something) On a better note, Dr. Cangas was fantastic with the kids today and a wonderful dentist.

I’m so thankful for the care, understanding, & knowledge from Dr. Cangas! My toddler recently damaged his front tooth (severed it from the root). It was really shocking to see that and I was very stressed out. I called Dental Derby immediately after it happened for advice. Even though the office was closed they were able see my son within 10-15 minutes. Dr. Cangas explained in detail everything I needed to know to make the best decision for my son. I left the office feeling a huge sense of relief and completely informed on what the next few months will look like as my son heals. I definitely recommend Dental Derby and Dr. Cangas!

Absolutely amazing. We had a somewhat traumatic experience at our last dentist with the way they treated my autistic son. After searching for a dentist I found dental Derby. After reading all the good reviews we decided to give them a try. It was the best decision. This dentist is great with kids. They are so attentive to kids needs. I even got a call later in the day to see how my son was doing.

Do not go anywhere else!!!!! My 5 year old son is Autistic and highly sensory seeking. Typically medical/dental experiences are not easy... my son had a great experience! From the warm smile and welcome by the front staff to the dental staff in the back... hands down the best of the best!!! I also have worked as a hygienist for 19 years. I've been with the same company for over 15 of those. I have had seen 100s of patients and their families that have also had amazing experiences at Dental Derby!! Go ahead and book the appointment. I promise you will have no regrets!

Cannot thank Dental Derby staff and Dr. Cangas enough for taking such wonderful care of our girl. She felt very comfortable with everything they did, they made sure to explain exactly what they were doing before it was done to make her feel at easy. I am so grateful that Dr Cangas recommended braces for my son. We went into Olsen and it was truly chaos. We chose Dr Saunders, and Dr Cangas has continued to say how beautiful his teeth are. My girls absolutely love it at Dental Derby. They are so helpful for military families. You won't find a better kiddo dentist. Dr Pratt is by far the best adult dentist. Dr Saunders for ortho ❤️

My son was referred to have an emergency extract of a tooth. We were told when scheduled that a consult and extraction would take place at the appointment. Staff took X-rays of entire mouth(not needed), determined two cavities on molars, and wanted to do IV anesthesia(initially agreed to gas) on a different day to fix cavities and pull the adjacent tooth to the one one that is the issue. It seems that they do not read orders completely from referring dentist since they wanted to treat everything except the reason we were there. I would not recommend anyone to use this office for any specialty dental.
