About HealthQuest Fitness & Wellness Center
HealthQuest Fitness & Wellness Center is a comprehensive 35,000 square foot facility located inside the Johnston Medical Mall, conveniently across from UNC Health Johnston. This well-equipped center features an indoor lap pool, warm water therapy pool, spa, racquetball courts, cycling room, and a variety of cardio and strength training equipment. HealthQuest offers group exercise and aquatics classes, swim lessons, and services like nutritional counseling and massage therapy provided by licensed professionals. The facility is known for its cleanliness and friendly atmosphere, with staff members always ready to assist. While many enjoy the challenging water classes and positive experiences, there have been concerns about parking due to the shared space with other medical offices and a cafe. Despite this parking issue, HealthQuest remains a highly recommended destination for fitness and wellness.
I work out 3 days a week.
I see people cleaning the machine they are using before exercise and just leave when they are done without cleaning their own germs. That concerns me so therefore I have to do it twice! The sign says CLEAN AFTER YOU ARE DONE
Decent facility with an outdoor Pickleball court and basketball court. You can rent lockers for 10 dollars a month. Theres also classes you can take to keep you motivated . The schedule is online and also they have printed versions
My mother and I just had a tour here and I will sum it up by saying - You NEED to come and have a tour! You will love it! Lynne at the front desk was very helpful and she set us up with a tour on the spot - Our tour guides Eric and Benjamin were great! Eric is very funny and mad us feel comfortable and they both gave us a great tour of the facilities and we both are planning on getting memberships PRONTO! Especially if you have any issues with your health this place covers everything from nutrition to exercise and training as well as relaxation and therapy! Come get a tour - it is free and the only thing you will lose is a little bit of time - but it is well worth it...read full review
