This office, especially Lakeesha Murphy (midwife), is wonderful! I was really worried about my birth control procedure and had been prescribed medication to make the appointment less nervewracking for me. Not only did they understand by needs and concerns, but on the day of my appointment, they were so kind and patient. They made the process so much easier, and they really helped to dispel a lot of the "trauma" I'd experienced with previous OB/GYN appointments. I can't recommend this office and Dr. Lakeesha enough.

Currently 22 weeks pregnant (approx. 5.5 months) and have been going to this office since week 8 (which is the norm).Dr. Higdon talks fast, but she's very informative, always leaves room for you to ask your own questions, and genuinely wants you to understand you and your baby's health. She's happy to elaborate and accommodate.As a domestic abuse victim, I carry a lot of PTSD with me into clinical settings that require rather personal procedures or tests. Dr. Higdon is very good at working with me on that and helping me to feel as comfortable as possible when the need arises.
