This is specifically for the cancer treatment center. I got testicular cancer and was sent here for chemo. I had nothing but the best experience at the cancer center. The nurses and doctors are the best care i've ever had. They are attentive, have a great bedside manner, and are invested in their patients.
I had a scheduled mammogram at the (WakeMed) Diagnostic Center - Imaging, Lab, PreAdmission Testing - Raleigh Medical Park. I was late for my appointment while sitting in the waiting area. Lack of staff, booth 1 didn’t have a rep working, booth 2 I observed the Rep was a Hispanic gentleman take a patient then he took extremely too long to call the next patient number to his booth. I know you have to document but it’s like he was on a break at his desk. Booth 3 the African American lady she had a Patient then once she was done with her patient she went to lunch. Kristen, the mammogram technician, is the best! This is usually an uncomfortable procedure but she is always very sweet, kind & professional. Her goal is to make your appointment as comfortable as possible!
