I first went to Emily after the recommendation of a friend. I'm not originally from Raleigh and didn't have a hair stylist. I was looking to cut my long hair to donate it in honor of my Mom who, at the time, had recently been diagnosed with cancer. Emily did a great job with the whole process and I continued to see her for future visits. Fast forward to the beginning of June 2026, my mom was getting married and she wanted to get her hair colored for her big in an effort to protect it throughout her ongoing chemo treatments. This was my first visit ever and Shawn will keep me coming back. She’s friendly and professional. She gave me lots of great tips for my fine hair, what products to use. The little head message after washing was a nice touch. I am very satisfied with the job she did and will be returning to Salon Blu for future hair needs.
Elle truly gave me the best experience and service. She listened to me, was incredibly kind and really displayed her knowledge and expertise with my hair type!
