“I was in misery with a cracked premolar and with radiating pain shooting up to the temple. A dentist referred me to Dr. Stella at Tar Heel Periodontics. I am a big baby but Dr. Stella along with assistants, Frank and Saran made me feel at ease from consultation to surgery and follow ups. The entire team at their different locations are friendly and professional. Some patients' reviews here may be frustrated with costs but I think there is no better investment than investing on oneself. Having a game plan is key to understanding the entire process, including financing. Tar Heel Periodontics is not in my insurance network but after consultation with the understanding of what's involved and inquiring coverage with my insurance company, I planned and prepared for the entire process from surgery to nutrition to follow ups. Nobody loves the dentist, and I’ve had horrible ones in the past, but THIS team is it for me! I have invested in my teeth and this team has helped educate me, keep my mouth healthy, and is great about reminding me what to do to keep my mouth and self healthy for many years to come.
