Chop Theory Salon is a spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated establishment. The owner, Frida, is a phenomenal, amazing, and talented color specialist who creates the most comfortable environment. She is easy to work with, knowledgeable, super sweet, and truly cares about client experience. Frida is a one of a kind entrepreneur who never disappoints. The salon also has other specialists, including Theresa, Amanda, Rylee, and Stephanie. Theresa listens and always delivers on what customers are asking. Amanda is the best highlighting queen and Rylee gives an amazing shaggy layered haircut. Stephanie is an amazing young hair artist with exceptional talent. These ladies are constantly going to conferences and seminars learning the most current techniques, latest products, and what's trending. The results are always there, and the hair grows out seamlessly. It is not cheap at all but so worth it for the superior results. The salon is moving to a larger space and adding new services to continue to elevate this stylish establishment. Schedule well in advance because the owner stays booked for a reason.
Almost 2 years coming to Chop Theory to see my stylist & owner of this Salon - Frida! I cannot express in words how amazing she truly is - not only as a talented stylist but as one of the sweetest people I know! To start the salon is light, bright, inviting, classy, and beautiful from top to bottom. I’ve only ever had Frida for appointments however all of the other stylist are friendly and personable as well when greeting them or in conversation. My two daughters see Frida as well, and between the 3 of us we have very different hair needs and desires so I feel as if I can give a good cast review on Frida and her services. I personally get all over color and root touch up as well as extensions. My color is always vibrant even 8 plus weeks after seeing her, and my extensions are always top shape and gives me the confidence I was needing when I noticed my hair thinning. My oldest sees Frida for her blonde touch ups two to three times a year and she NEVER disappoints. Her color is always has my daughter asks for, exactly as shown is pics for inspiration, and even after months following a freshen up appointment her blonde is still not only beautiful but healthy. My youngest daughter receives keratin treatments. She suffers from VERY thick, course curly hair that was resulting in breakage at the nape of her neck and causing unevenness in length. Once we started getting keratin treatments from Frida my daughters hair has never been more healthy. Her hair has strengthened, it’s the longest it has ever been, and she has 0 breakage with her curls being more relaxed from her keratin treatments. I made sure I listed all of our services to show her vast knowledge, experience, and talent in what she does. She is hands down the best stylist, and has the best salon around. I drive over an hour to see her, and it is more than worth it each and every time. Frida not only has the best knowledge in her profession, but one of the kindest hearts I know. I look forward to seeing her not only because I know I’ll feel beautiful when leaving, but also as much because I throughly enjoy my time with there. I cannot recommend Frida, her stylist, and salon enough. I am happy to share pictures of my daughters or my own hair for reference if you are considering seeing her or any of her amazing stylist!
Frida is the best hairstylist I have ever been to. I have been going to her for about 7 years now. She is so knowledgeable and talented. Chop Theory is a gorgeous salon and she goes above and beyond for her salon and her clients. Stephanie is amazing too!! Best salon in Charlotte!
