About Maggie Valley Club
The Maggie Valley Club offers a range of experiences, including dining and golfing. The food served at the club is generally enjoyable, with standouts being the special schnitzels and appetizers. However, the buffet food can cool down quickly. Golfers can expect a well-maintained course with beautiful views and a good challenge, though there may be occasional issues such as vandalism and uneven tee boxes. The rough is thick, and the greens are large and roll true. The ambiance is often praised, particularly on the veranda, but it can get loud near the bar. Staff members, including waitstaff and bartenders, are frequently noted for their attentiveness and friendliness, making it a great place for families, despite the lack of high security. The front 9 plays through the valley and is open, while the back 9 features amazing mountain views and elevation changes. Overall, it is a very enjoyable round for those looking to play in the area.
Just came in for lunch. Bar/restaurant was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Bartender Mike was fantastic! We had a couple great cocktails and 2 absolutely delicious meals! Everyone was very friendly and the entire place was spotless! We can't wait to go back to golf!
Played a round of golf. First nine was fairly level and a nice valley course with nice mountain views back nine is a mountain course making good use of the topography. The clubhouse/pro shop is nice and well stocked. The restaurant looked nice and has outdoor seating overlooking the front nine and mountain views.
