I am currently fighting rare form of cancer they cant really stage it but Dr Hathorn said if they could it would be Stage IV both times. I got cancer first time on June 11th when I lost my leg July 10th, and second time in October 31st cause of negligence of a surgeon not getting petscan sooner... Was given news I may or may not survive but Mccreary has kept me in amazing spirits, I absolutely love all the nurses and doctors that reside there that help the head Doctor Dr Hathorn, He is a very caring and funny man who truly loves his patients. The ladies at the front are sweet and very helpful they definitely put up with me every Wednesday lol. And Nurses deal with my jokes and great sense of humor. They treated my grandfather and they currently treat my great great aunt and uncle who is fighting cancer as well. I pray for anyone going in and out of this place... One thing I have to say they do need make more spots for handicap especially people who cant walk far and the ones at the front should be dedicated to those who actually are in wheelchairs
Amivie is a great company to work for. Very caring & understanding. They care about their employees. When its bad weather they say only go if u feel safe going. They always thank you for all you do. Everyone at at my office are great. Best company that I have ever worked for. I recommend people to Amivie Quality Home staffing all the time.
Went to R&R today for the first time. Rachel was fantastic! She took the time to listen to me and my daughters to see what we wanted before she started our haircuts. She was very good at listening during the process as well. We all three got amazing cuts! My daughter is very particular about her hair and said this is the happiest she's even been leaving a salon. Her prices can't be beat! We will definitely be back!!

Alair Homes Hickory did a great job building my residence. All the personnel were extremely helpful from the first meeting (online with Cody since I was living out of state at the time) through the final walk through (again with Cody). The budget software kept me apprised at all times of all costs and I was alerted of and had to approve any incorrect estimates before any changes were implemented (e.g., the cost of the well pump and having to increase the foundation’s height). As with any build, there were some challenges along the way (e.g., weather, subcontractors) and the Alair folks did their best to meet those challenges and keep the project on time and within budget. I was especially pleased with the draftsman’s work – taking my ideas and turning them into reality – and the men who completed the punch list (Wade and Jeremy). I highly recommend Alair Homes Hickory to anyone who’s considering building a home in the area.
My situation began with noticing that at 10:00pm our air conditioning was not working. “Well I’m a Fixer”…. And when I can’t fix it “I DON’T sleep”… I lay awake working through all the things that “might work” to fix the problem. Finally at 4:45am I got up went and got a portable air compressor to try and blow out the condensation line… “that didn’t work”….. I turned the breaker off at the main panel… for about thirty minutes. “ hoping for a hard factory reset”…. That didn’t work either. Being nearly 70 years old and having had three total knee replacements.. “ I don’t crawl”.. once McMillian was open for business… I called and placed a request for service. And just as I expected a service tech “Tyler” showed up. I told him all that I had attempted prior to his arrival… “He went straight to work… found the issue in minutes. And made the necessary corrections to restore the A/C… and as great as that sounds… that’s just part of the story. Tyler took the time to show both my wife and I how to “set” out thermostat so it would change from heat to air without having to mess with it at all… he even went upstairs and set the thermostat up there, he really went above and beyond a normal “service call”!… and should be recognized for his representation of the fine company he works for. McMillian is the best when it comes to HVAC needs.. especially if you’re my age and need the assurance you can trust the folks you call to help with home repairs. Ed & Jeana Whisenant, Valdese NC

Travis Sholar, at The Pink House Studio and Massage, is a very skilled massage therapist. He works wonders on my back and shoulders. I have so much more range of motion in my shoulders and my back doesn't get tired as quickly after hours working in the garden. I get to spend more time doing things I love to do and less time recovering from it. Thanks Travis!

Both Victor and Eric have given haircuts to my 15 year old son and my 10 year old son. Both barbers take their time, engage the boys to ensure they are getting the cut they want, and do a top notch job in the process. Highly recommend this barber shop.

It’s just a great small town no nonsense barbershop. First come, first served and all 3 barbers are great guys who do great cuts. This shop has been around forever and will likely stay that way!
I walked into a different barber shop and they straight up said they don’t do girls hair, without asking me what kinda cut I wanted. My friend suggested Curtis so I called up there. They took walk-ins and had a chair available even. Molly gave me an awesome tri-layered wolf pixie. It was just like the picture I showed. They were friendly and I will definitely be back. Can’t beat the price either.

I went to Nora’s Nails with extremely short, brittle, peeling nails and honestly didn’t think much could be done—but she worked magic! My nails look AMAZING!
This was hands down the best manicure experience I’ve ever had. It was completely pain-free, relaxing, she took her time (no rushing at all), and the whole vibe was warm and welcoming. Her salon is also absolutely adorable.
If you have problem nails like mine, I cannot recommend Nora enough. I’ll definitely be back!

I've been seeing Chili for color and cut for several years now, and I'm always pleased with the results. Not only is Chili a pro at what she does, the shop was recently totally remodeled and is a beautiful and relaxing environment. During the current pandemic, the CDC guidelines are followed for masking and social distancing.
We are in Lenoir from out of town and I was so blessed to have came across Mrs. Patti! She treated me and my girl like family. She worked her magic on both of us and we left the salon feeing beautiful! Thank you so much for not only great hair but a wonderful experience.

Mark started cutting my hair a couple of months ago and I think highly of his skills, after all he's been cutting hair all his life..... I am very satisfied with his cuts and I'm picky as heck lol. A great deal too

Cathy Beaver does an amazing job and is the best hair stylist u will ever have your hair done from!! She bleached my hair and did provanna pastel highlights and they turned out to be mt favorite! I am convinced anybody that goes to her will love her work!!

My husband and I have been going to Clydia Bolick since early 90’s. When they had to move from first shop to Hwy 18 (weren’t allowed to take clients info) we found them. Now that they have a permanent salon/building, they can make the decisions on what, who, products, and services, Bella Rae is a great place. Caldwell County is fortunate to have them.

Jake Hartley did a phenomenal job restoring the hardwood floors in our house! These pictures show the before, sanded, and finished floors. He was extremely helpful, communicated every step of the way, and did such an amazing job!

Mark was helpful and professional installing two radon systems. Sensor data confirms they are both working very well and fully took care of the problems we had on the first try, even though one of them was rather severe. Both were installed neatly, and Mark was easy to work with.
