I had a corner gutter arrangement that always caused me worry for 7 years, when it rained water would pour over the gutter onto my window. I called one company here in Lenoir, he said nothing was wrong, I saw red. I asked 2 other people "nothing was wrong". I called Royal, fast thinking, problem solvers came. They fixed the problem and charged me a reasonable fee. Thank you guys for doing such a good thing for my house and me.

My situation began with noticing that at 10:00pm our air conditioning was not working. “Well I’m a Fixer”…. And when I can’t fix it “I DON’T sleep”… I lay awake working through all the things that “might work” to fix the problem. Finally at 4:45am I got up went and got a portable air compressor to try and blow out the condensation line… “that didn’t work”….. I turned the breaker off at the main panel… for about thirty minutes. “ hoping for a hard factory reset”…. That didn’t work either. Being nearly 70 years old and having had three total knee replacements.. “ I don’t crawl”.. once McMillian was open for business… I called and placed a request for service. And just as I expected a service tech “Tyler” showed up. I told him all that I had attempted prior to his arrival… “He went straight to work… found the issue in minutes. And made the necessary corrections to restore the A/C… and as great as that sounds… that’s just part of the story. Tyler took the time to show both my wife and I how to “set” out thermostat so it would change from heat to air without having to mess with it at all… he even went upstairs and set the thermostat up there, he really went above and beyond a normal “service call”!… and should be recognized for his representation of the fine company he works for. McMillian is the best when it comes to HVAC needs.. especially if you’re my age and need the assurance you can trust the folks you call to help with home repairs. Ed & Jeana Whisenant, Valdese NC
My husband David Carswell has mobility problems and can no longer ride his motorcycle. It would not start. Danny was so nice. He picked the bike up and fixed it. Travis Sholar, at The Pink House Studio and Massage, is a very skilled massage therapist. He works wonders on my back and shoulders. I have so much more range of motion in my shoulders and my back doesn't get tired as quickly after hours working in the garden. Both Victor and Eric have given haircuts to my 15 year old son and my 10 year old son. Both barbers take their time, engage the boys to ensure they are getting the cut they want, and do a top notch job in the process. Highly recommend this barber shop.

Yesterday was my 1st time with Nora. She was awesome. The results are fantastic. Very nice space and clean environment. Nora was very personable and easy to talk to thru out! Glad I took the chance on trying her out. I will definitely continue to have my nails done with Nora!

I've been seeing Chili for color and cut for several years now, and I'm always pleased with the results. Not only is Chili a pro at what she does, the shop was recently totally remodeled and is a beautiful and relaxing environment. During the current pandemic, the CDC guidelines are followed for masking and social distancing.
We are in Lenoir from out of town and I was so blessed to have came across Mrs. Patti! She treated me and my girl like family. She worked her magic on both of us and we left the salon feeing beautiful! Thank you so much for not only great hair but a wonderful experience.

My husband and I have been going to Clydia Bolick since early 90’s. When they had to move from first shop to Hwy 18 (weren’t allowed to take clients info) we found them. Now that they have a permanent salon/building, they can make the decisions on what, who, products, and services, Bella Rae is a great place. Caldwell County is fortunate to have them.

Jake Hartley did a phenomenal job restoring the hardwood floors in our house! These pictures show the before, sanded, and finished floors. He was extremely helpful, communicated every step of the way, and did such an amazing job!
I am very pleased with how our new floor turned out! We replaced very old wool Berber carpet (circa 1969!) with this Brazilian pecan engineered flooring and it is just stunning! The installers were very skilled and professional. They did a great job!
Mark was helpful and professional installing two radon systems. Sensor data confirms they are both working very well and fully took care of the problems we had on the first try, even though one of them was rather severe. Both were installed neatly, and Mark was easy to work with.

A1 Pest Control is the best of the best. We discovered a bat in our home and it was close to after hours and closing for A1. They went above and beyond to help us. The technician came and was professional and calming. He got the bat and did an inspection of the property to try and locate the entry point. He took his time, despite the fact it was after 5 pm. I was very nervous about going to a dentist due to my fear of needles. But Dr Terry helped to calm my fears & made the process easy & painless. I was very satisfied with the work that was done. I highly recommend Dr Terry& staff. This will be my forever dentist.

Going on 3 years now, a friend recommended this place for a massage. When I arrived, I realized I knew Leslie. She was a friend of my sister's from school. Anyway, I received so much more than a totally awesome massage. She agreed to take me as a regular client. I have many health issues and was hoping for pain relief from severe neuropathy. However, I received so much more. Leslie is devoted to helping others. With each visit, my quality of life increases. She is a kind, caring, and remarkable lady.
