Dr. Matthews is by far, the best optometrist that I have ever been to. I was diagnosed with strabismus over 10 years ago and it is very very difficult to find a doctor who can provide an accurate eye glass prescription, with prisms, that can correct the double vision. Most do not know how or want to take the time to work with a patient to get the prism part accurate. It is very obvious that Dr. Matthews and his assistant (and wife) Theresa, LOVE what what they do. Dr. M takes the extra time and care necessary to make sure the prescription is accurate and the extra time to explain all the results of the tests that he does. As a long time patient of Dr Matthews I've always had exemplary care. He uses his experience and kindness to addresses every concern, and double checks for the most accurate exam results. Also his office runs very efficiently, never have to wait long at all even when busy.
Dr. Matthews is kind, caring, and very good at eye care. He has been treating our daughter for 7 years and monitoring a serious eye condition. If you want the best doctor with a great staff this is the place to go.
