I highly recommend Highlands Handyman. Spencer and everyone I dealt with there was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. They replaced deck boards, side rail, support beams, and it looks great! I will definitely be calling them for other handyman work that will be needed in the future.
Can’t recommend Edwards Electric enough!! Andrew got his crew out the same day to fix old wiring to our hot water tank after we were suddenly without hot water. They handled everything quickly and professionally, and I’m sooooo grateful. Truly appreciate the reliability and service
What a wonderful and incredibly relaxing experience my sweet daughter-in-law and I had this afternoon. She had a massage and I had a facial and then we both got reflexology/foot massages. Excellent service, much needed stress reliever, we both commented that we felt like noodles when we were leaving! LOL! I would definitely recommend them and can’t wait to come back for services again next trip. Great job, Jillian and Sharon, you were both amazing!

I had an amazing experience today at Gifted Hands Spa! The massage rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The owners were wonderful and attended to every detail, making my 60 minute massage truly restorative! What is more, the boutique in front was filled with fun gifts at great prices! The spa is located within walking distance of Main Street and was the perfect addition to my afternoon get-a-way in Highlands, NC!
Tim and his crew do great work and are great people as well. They're trustworthy and do the job right the first time around. We've used them for just about every plumbing issue you can think of and always been satisfied.

It’s been a positive experience with transparent communication (daily updates + photos), easy and immediate access via cell and text if we have any concerns. The entire staff is kind, professional and responsive. Shout out to Noah, our job site supervisor! Noah is hands on, present and ready to problem solve. Bill Futral has many years experience in the area. His professionalism draws notable respect from the various other disciplines he brings in. We are especially are delighted with the electrical team (Vann’s Electric) and the group of masons. We look forward to watching continued progress and future completion of our home.

While on a vacation at the Highlands, decided at the last minute to sign up for a class at this studio, which was within an easy walking distance from old Edwards Inn. Ashby was super friendly when my girlfriend and I arrived early and made us feel totally comfortable. The class was energizing and enriching. Got to try some new variations. Energy is great. It set us up for a wonderful vacation Saturday!
I needed to have a fish pond reconstructed including pump replacement and plumbing update. Zoellner did an outstanding job and did weekly maintenance along with landscape maintenance.

I booked the Mommy and Me service for my mother and I and it did not dissapoint. As a therapeutic massage healer myself - this was high key the perfect place to unwind, help find your true self, and relax. Both my mother and I had a wonderful experience. The massage was one of the best I've ever had, and the hot plunge along with the steam room was quite an experience. I left feeling tapped further into my feminine self and im excited to carry it with me. I can't wait to come back!

Air Pro Heating • Air • Electric were fantastic! We had our heat go out (Thursday) right before this winter storm came through. I called Air Pro & Megan answered & set me up right away with a same day appointment! Bradley came out asap to look at our unit. He discovered that our compressor was bad and my unit was only heating off of half a heating kit. (Trying to explain the best I can). He recommended replacing the heating kit to get us through the frigid weekend temps. The next day Larry came out and quoted us on new HVAC systems. Larry was very attentive to our needs & informative about the units. He got us scheduled asap (first install available). Monday everything in NC was shutdown from the storm. Tuesday morning with temps at 14 degrees, the workers (one named Henry) showed up & installed our new HVAC! Both worked very hard & did a great job! We are very happy that we have heat again! Air Pro was fast, caring & knowledgeable all the way from the first call to install completion. We chose the company because of their ratings & that they are veteran owned. I believe we made a great choice! Thanks Air Pro & each of the team that we talked to!

The best spot within 300 miles of Chattanooga. The Highlands are a Hallmark movie in the flesh and Old Edwards is where you stay! It’s a fairy tale of excellence. Food is terrific! Service is top notch as always!
My husband & I centered our honeymoon around the Spa (stayed in a spa suite at OEI & booked services for each day we were there.) Definitely the right decision for us— such a relaxing trip!! I called in September to book our week in March & the receptionist was helpful in recommending services for us & got everything set up for our trip! We each got a body scrub, facial, the signature Sweet Mountain Metamorphasis, & a couple’s massage. I had Sparkle for days 1 & 3, Nang for my facial, & Keisha for the couple’s massage & the services were all fantastic. I have had some lower back pain flare off and on for 2 years and despite not saying anything about it to Keisha, when she got to that area in the massage, she asked me if I had any pain because she could tell something was off, & was able to give me some more information about what muscles I should be stretching to help (solving my mystery back pain of 2 years thank you Keisha!! ??)! I appreciated getting to pick the fragrances for each treatment, & everyone was so sweet & celebratory of our honeymoon! ?
I wish I had brought a book to read in the lounge area because it was very cozy (I fell asleep in there on the first day). I took advantage of the “human car wash” shower & Steam Room (to other guests just to be aware, the steam room/sauna/whirlpool area is technically bathing suit optional but I was the only person not in a bathing suit. Mayhaps pack a bathing suit unless you are down to be alone in your nudity lol).
The cafe was lovely & had lots of great vegetarian options as well as tea & specialty coffee.
Overall, we had a fantastic & rejuvenating honeymoon! Thanks to all!
