Dr. Felder is an amazing surgeon. Had a total hip replacement with obsolutely no complications. He was upfront with me from the beginning about what to expect and told me to do exactly what he said and I would be back with my life in a matter of weeks. In twelve weeks I was back doing my physically demanding job with no problem. Actually in better shape and with no pain.. hadn't felt that way in two years! I would highly recommend Dr. Felder to anyone. Can't leave out Robin! She was the first person I visited at High Point Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine and explained what was going on with my hip and that she would like Dr. Felder to look over my file and see what direction to go!! Also saw Robin through my hip replacement visits and what an wonder PA she is!! Thank you both!! Arnold Auman
This is an amazing place to get help for your orthopedic needs. It has plenty of parking. Handicap access, wheelchairs if needed and an elevator. It also is equipped with a drive up and drop off covered access point for easy access to the clinic. It has it’s own physical therapy department and you can get your X-rays done there for convenience. The PA I had was absolutely terrific. His name was Brian and works with Dr. Lenon. Very thorough and gentle. I had to get an injection which is never a great thing but he made it as pleasant as it could possibly be. He explained everything in great detail. I was impressed to say the least. The reason for only 4 stars is because...read full review
My physical therapist recommended I see Dr. Felder for a nagging elbow issue that wasn't going away. I finally made an appointment and I'm glad I did. I was in the waiting room for maybe 4-5 minutes before being called back to a room. The nurse asked if I had x-rays, which I did not, so I was whisked down the hall to get x-rays before seeing the doctor. The x-rays took 5 minutes at the most and I was back in the room with Dr. Felder following shortly behind. I felt like I had an instant rapport with Dr. Felder. He's an incredibly nice, genuine guy and I felt like the exam was thorough. We discussed my issue and he gave me a prescription and exercises to hopefully improve my elbow. The lady at checkout was tracking that I still had a $1500 deductible, which I met months ago. She quickly got Cindy from finance involved and a couple minutes later I was sitting in Cindy's office while she got my insurance company on the phone to clarify. She quickly got to the bottom of it (I have the worst insurance in the history of the free world, and their team consists mostly of idiots), and had me on my way. Above and beyond service from what I am used to experiencing at a healthcare provider's office. If you're looking for an ortho in the High Point/Triad area, don't hesitate to give Dr. Felder and his team a shot.
