Many customers appreciate the affordability and speed of the service, often receiving perfect matches to their original keys. The machines can now make car keys, which has been a highly praised feature. While the overall experience is positive, the small selection of certain keys, like mailbox keys, may require mailing to the customer, which can be less convenient. Overall, KeyMe Locksmiths offers a simple, efficient, and dependable solution for key copying and lock-related services.
Its okay. Got the deal for buy 2 get 1 free. I got 2 metal key and 1 color key for free.
The color key cost slightly more. The color key worked on my door, but the 2 bronze/metal/regular key doesnt work. It doesnt lock or unlock the door knob.
Honestly, the prices were extremely high for mediocre keys. I got three keys, all of them were cut terribly, they work, but they’re definitely not the cleanest work. They have frayed edges, and they offered for 2.99 to have “new precision cut”, but I believe it’s just a cash grab. Terrible job. Go to MinuteKey in lowe’s for a better job, and same prices.
They can't text a receipt (like the machine asks if you want).... But they can text asking for a review. So, here is an honest review.
This was a purchase for work.... Ya know, gotta turn on receipts to get reimbursed... I guess I just made a small donation to a multi-million dollar corporation thanks to KeyMe not texting me the receipt after the machine asked me if I wanted it to.
Then they try to upcharge you to deburr the key that you just overpaid for. $7.45 for a key with super sharp edges and burrs.
The machine leaves super sharp burrs on the key.... If you don't pay an extra fee for deburring 🙄🙄. This is just ridiculous!
